L.E.D. drip irrigation and watering shedule?

Starting my 2nd go round and I am switching from soil to drip/hydro and wanted to know if I lower the frequency between watering? The plants I had in soil only needed watering every 5-7 days and I have read that I should normally water 3x a day but pretty sure that's with a hps not led? Thanks all

if you have your environment stable best answer is that you pay very close attention water as needed. if I remember right my friend used coco and I think he watered daily.

I'm using hydrotron or what ever its called....expanded clay I'm thinking its differnt then coco? Again I dunno tho?
