We are retired. And wanted to do different techniques and new techniques with our plants. And if others are interested we will at our cost ( not to make money off no one ) set some people up doing the same. To have fun growing.

On these ones the are growing in the direction im guiding them and it’s working well. I started directing them on 1st set and second set of leaves. It’s turning out as i expected. I didn’t do no bending just tied them every inch directing them the way i want them to go. I do take pictures of what we do incase some one else wants to try different techniques like my wife and i.
Started on the cotolyden?

I like to get them up a foot or two already pinch topped a couple times then all the tops go horizontal through some square wire fence or net for the flip. I strip everything below the net and keep the canopy tidy removing any wilt and larf.

This is how we train with direction. And some small plants put into flower early interested on how they turned out.

There 4 wks into flowering now. We just have fun together growing our own plants. Sometimes we go into competition with each other when one of us thinks we came up with an interesting plant. Its all about fun and enjoying the grow. Once in a while completeing with each other.

Ok my friend thank you for taking the time to find a bent plant. Except wrong plant. Its the very little guys 4 in i am trying to not bend if you notice I didn’t bend they were growing in the direction. They didn’t grow up they grew in the direction there heading. Since you guys are technical I will reword and say slightly curving. My wife does the technical thing with me. Guys be easy with technical the wife slams me when she gets technical. Cant win with her. Im not very serious on technically speaking. I do believe there not bent. I learned not to argue with that i will please you and give you maybe curved will that work. I love my wife so i let her get technical its bent no dear curved. I just listen i do have this ( Really) Look on my face. Guess what look i have know. Thanks

when you say you don’t wanna bend do you mean you don’t wanna break the stem? Or bend to a point that’s traumatic?

Well brothe thing about trading that early is you’ll only get like 3 main colas at best because plant will recognize which way is up.

ive been toying with an Idea. You could, in theory spiral a stem round a tomato cage upward. then, when it’s as tall as you want, top it and watch all of your new main colas.

I did this already but didnt spiral upward. So my main stem stopped growing. I’ll probably put the plant in flower in 3 weeks

Ive noticed some different strains react a little different some easier, some a bit more challenging. Great ideal I wouldn’t stop trying very challenging. Thats the fun of it. It would be cool to help you out if you go at it again. That would be very interesting to see it done.
