Lack of crystal

My plants had very by buds but I noticed they do not have much sugar on them. Now, after cutting and drying them for 3 days those big buds start falling apart I believe the reason is due to lack of sticky crystal.

Could anyone please help me to find the reason for the crystal problem, for the future grows?

Thanks for your responds.

are you sure you didn't harvest too early? lack of crystals could be genetics...could you explane what you mean by :buds falling apart??? any pics of before and after???

No I doubt they're falling apart bc of lack of crystal, probably bc they're not fully developed buds. But that is not necessarily why they are lacking crystal, that sounds like a genetic problem. My suggestions are first, seek a better strain, some suggestions, blueberry, northern lights, dakini kush, alsaskan thunderfuck. Second, don't chop your plants till the hairs all curl in and then take a jewelers loupe and check out the trichomes, wait till they're all milky white and as soon as you see amber chop it. Some people wait till its half and half amber and white but I chop at the first sight of amber.

Dirtpower the buds used to be big before we cut and dry them then after we trim they look like a pack of grape fruit, or like a bunch of small marbles sticking together and not juicy at all. We might harvest them a bit early too; however, in the pass the buds look a lot juicier even when they're in a much earlier stage.

This is the first time we are using the old soil from the previous year. I noticed there were lot of molding in the soil when we're trying to remix it before laying the plants down. Then during the 4 months of growing there were many mushroom growing up. We have kill them almost every 3 to 4 days. Therefore I wonder if it's some kind of a disease.

Thank you for your helps.

that says it all. they were big before you dryed them. that means that they were airy. either you are using shitty bulbs, or not feeding them corectly. or the light is to far away from the canopy. along with sub par genetics

if you scqueeze the bud and it has some give to it best believe it's going to be a shitty harvest. they should be rock hard. and if not rock hard they should have very little give when you scqueeze them.

These plants are grown outdoor. The buds were solid. All of us thought this will be a good harvest but we are totally shocked. The first 7 weeks
I was using sensi a & b, bid bud, bud candy, b52, sensizym and Nivarna followed the recommnedation on the bottles. The last 2 weeks I added Dry kool bloom twice the recommendation.

The buds have very little crystal if not at all. Because I've been trimming all day but my hand are not dirty. Last season I had to wear globes and changed them every few hours.

Thanks for your respond MrStickyScissors.

Strain has a lot to do with it in my opinion Every time I grow like OGK it gets rediculous amounts of crystal then I grow something else and I get a little down lol. But smoke that shit looks aren't everything my friend you may have chopped early if you smoke it and don't like it Hash it But don't get discouraged over looks alone I've seen bud that looked mediocre and didn't smell that much that was some straight kill. What area are you growing in if you don't mind me asking State/country outdoors rite

The person gave me the clones said they were Wifi OG. I am growing near Fresno, California.
Ya something's up man Either there not what they said they were or you may have messed up along the way growing ........I'm close to where you are .....OG. Should be poppin right now .........do you have pics of a bud to take a look at

it's all about the strain. for future reference if they do not have frost by week 3 of flower and you have access to different strains just start over. they should have a smell and frost by week three. it all comes down to do you want to wait out the extra 6 to 7 weeks for some boo boo ass weed or start over. I have thrown out a hole room of 27 plants in 5 gallon buckets due to gambling on an unverified strain not smelling or lack of trichs in week 3. if it anit fire i don't want it in my house

gotta be carefull with those OG cuts. there are so many fakes. all the boo boo cuts I have got were OG of some kind. a lot of people that clone just clone the mother that shoots roots the fastest and to my experience the clones that root the quikest are not the best
