Lack of smell?

Hey im about 6 weeks into flowering, and about 40% of the strands are orange.
However, if i smell the buds they just smell like leaves and not like weed. There are obviously a lot of crystals on the plants and stuff but the smell is throwing me off
Is this messed up?

i have no idea, i got the seeds from my friend, and he got them in some bud that he bought. im going to try and post some pics, but i dont think they will help because of the shitty resolution
 
Well you aren't going to be able to find out the strain via pics, but we might be able to help you decide on when to harvest the plant

If you're marijuana plants don't smell they are poisoned. Discard plants and give me the bud imediately, So i can extract the poison and keep pplz safe >_>
 
i agree with what tom420 said completely.. some strains don't stank when they are growing.. giving a proper dry and a cure may help to bring out the odor, if not then no harm no foul really as long as they smoke good whats the diff ... i know a lot of people who would love to not have the stinky plants while they are growing to cut down on problems with nosey neighbors and whatnot..

ok those leaves look like a major K def but hey it could jsut be ur strain kills its leaves off when flowering mine have done it a few timesbut go to radioshack or a dollar store, buy one of those little like diamond inspecting magnifyiers, and take a gander at ur buds, when there about 50/50 white to amber its a goood time to start thinking harvest
 
I use to have the same problem, until I started using floranectar and Budswel. Its the Budswel that did it. This is what it looks like...

This stuff is the SHIT. My plants were SO stinky by week 8 I got kind of worried. And now that they are done and cured. Man, I am never going to NOT use this stuff again.
