Didn't forget about that huh? And yup, it made me laugh and smile :)

I did stop with the scrog because the plants stretched so hard that they completely outgrew it. It pretty much did what it aimed to though, created a bunch of level tops. Will be putting up some pics tomorrow morning! Girls are in night cycle at the moment.

It's a big boy tomato plant.. best one I could find and Homedepot. I don't know why they call it a big boy if only the females flower.. "She" is sitting in Miracle Grow Organic Soil 10/5/5. I was hoping to find Jungle growth soil, but all they had was topsoil and Miracle Grow.

It has some curling on the bottom limb leaves.. I hope now that I have transplanted and watered the roots will grow healthy and correct this.

Been thinking about growing some veggies too! How long have you been doing it for? If you can grow tomatoes, I'm sure you can grow cannabis easily. When do you think you'll plant your first MJ seed?

I actually find pot easier to grow than tomatoes! But I usually grow pot indoors so that's probably why :) I did some hydro tomatoes that did really well tho. Also did hydro flowers and jalapeños and Serrano.

I just bought the seeds (2) today. Feminized Northern Lights.

7-10 business days to wait now.

i ask because i am interested in NL. my friend has a 120w cfl perpetual box.(30inch/20inch suitcase) just finished a red dragon with WWxBB n 3 sisters among her and it seems we would be doing the same grow and we could compare our findings through the haul.

I don't see why you can't, real easy to get working. Think it's a great idea to start out on because you get a concept of what is required to grow, but on a small enough scale that's manageable. Or if you don't have a lot of space, it's a fun way to grow a modest amount of bud. I keep it in a far corner in the back part of a room, barely notice it. And yes, I am in an apartment :)

In the bin I have a 125watt actual 640 watt equivalent dual spectum louts CFL and two 32 watt 6500k, and in the closet I have a 200w actual 1000w equivalent dual spectrum Lotus CFL, and two 40 watt 2700k CFLs. The temps in the closet are stupid high right now. Once I added supplemental lighting, temps hit 90. These little CFLs run much hotter than the 200watt CFL, crazy. I can actually leave my hand on the big light for a bit before it starts to burn.

We're coming up on the 5th week of flowering for Reserva Privada Sour Kush and Seedsman Original Skunk #1. Tomorrow is the actual start of week 5, but I'm going to do the update today cuz I'm high and I feel like it :lol:








As you can see, the skunk is still showing signs of deficiency. I gave her a generous dosing of a mild tea yesterday that brewed for 3 days...basically just aerated purified water with a general dosing of bloom nutes, fish hydrolysate, fish & seaweed fertilizer, azomite, and molasses. In person, the buds look a little syrupy / sugary. Look very yummy :eyesmoke:. Also, I finally gave the girls nicknames :)

























As for the 12/12 seedlings...their growth has been slightly stunted due to my noobness. I thought that I could grow them to a decent size in seed starting mix before needing to transplant for soil...but I was wrong. It has horrible drainage and of course, without nutes. Could tell the babies weren't thriving...so I took some 'drastic' measures and gently rescued them from the shitty mix and put them into a Fox Farm Ocean Forest soil cut with Happy Frog soil so that they could get good nutes without burning. I bought the soil mixed from ebay. 12 bucks for 4 gallons, free shipping. Not bad. Also mixed the soil with worm castings, azomite, and some extra perlite. We'll see if they make it! I'm kind of expecting a couple to die...just so I won't be so bummed if they happen to...these plants are really small to be transplanted :(. Right now I have C99, Blueberry, Skunk, and Big Bud #2. Pics are about 8 hours after transplant:














So what do you think my yield will be on the Sour Kush and Skunk? I would be happy with an ounce! :weed:

Yah I was looking at the jiffy seed starter soil, but it has NO info on the bag about ingredients.. what bull is that!

The best thing I can get currently is Organic Miracle grow. It starts with a 7.0 ph (just tested it) The reverse osmosis water at walmart is 6.8 Ph, and my tap water is 7.5 ph (YIKES!). So I definitely will need to buy some ph down.
