Believe it or not, that is actually Miracle Grow. The one thing that I learned is if you use Miracle Grow soil then you don't need any nutes in the beginning only light nutes when it starts to flower. She suffered from nute burn and I had to flush her, but she seems to be recovering fine...

This will be the last time that I use Miracle Grow though, I just wanted to use the rest of my bag up. I was thinking about trying rockwool or maybe coco... I'm still debating on it...

Might try coco one of these days too. Am ordering some happy frog / ocean forest and see if it works out better than the black gold I was using. It's good soil but it came with bugs in it :(.

Oh ok... I seen a grow journal on youtube and he used rockwool and fox farm nutes. He got a nice yield and said he seemed to like it...

it's always interesting seeing what people get up to and the results they achieve, always thought straight perlite thing was a bit weird, but seems to work well.
using coco at the moment, loving it.
was on the canna, but thinking about switching.. nowt wrong with them, just wanna try something different, maybe hesi, or ghe or h&g ... ionics who knows...

Oh, that a girl!! Go Blueberry. Would love to see that baby from seedling to harvest in your journal! Plus, the pheno is from the original breeder, so yeah, kick ass!

Thinking my cheese 12/12 will be in coco, not soil.. Have medina hastagrow, and the local compost tea I'm testing for a local company. And my bloom regimen is/has been GH For the last run.

Ill keep updated.

Oh Lady, my blueberry cuts are gorgeous. If yours turn out like mine did, then you're looking at a truly beautiful plant!! Try for clones if you can, even if it's not the best it can be, it'll be better than what you'd get from the streets for sure!

It's all good, would like to see you grow with coco anyway so can see what it is exactly lol. I'm very excited about Blueberry! And yes Hazy, can't beat good genetics. I just hope I treat her proper :)

big bud #1 was pretty much mold resistant. the guy i used to buy from when i lived further afield grew what he sold and that was pretty much the only strain that was consistant. try looking for #1 genetics. if they are dying off then i may have to purchase a bulk load of seeds,

I had got Big Bud #2 as a freebie from Herbie's so wasn't too worried about tossing it. Read that someone wrote Herbies and asked about its genetics. They were told that is a pre-released seed from Seedsman's line up. Don't want to grow it until I know more about it...cuz I get attached to my plants and it will kill me to put a lot of time and energy into a crap strain!

By the way...can see the beginnings of the tap root showing from the Blueberry already :). Less than 24 hours...can't help but feel positive about her future :bigjoint:

Planted her in some seed starting mix in a 5 inch jiffy pot. I expect she should be showing by tomorrow hopefully!

The skunk is above the soil today. Day one :). Will take a pic a little later.

Congrats on the new family memebers. Little Blu obvioulsy wants to show her new momma her talent. With the right environment, and TLC (which of course you will provide) she will grow up to be a BIG girl and get her BA in BABB (Big Ass Beautiful Buds) and make her MUM proud! Sawweeeet!!

Just got a HUGE upgrade for the closet...literally :mrgreen:




Sun God Komee Lights 200watt actual, 1000watt equivalent Lotus CFL Grow Bulb w/ mogul connection. It is advertised as lasting up to 12 times longer than ordinary bulbs. And the best part? It's dual spectrum, 6500k and 2700k. They have very low heat...I put my hand an inch away from the mini version of the bulb (bought one for my sterilite tubs, 125w) and barely felt anything. Box says you can use within 4 inches, have had it that close to my plants for a few hours now without any signs of stress. It can be used vertical or horizontal and puts out 15,000 lumens of useable light. It's 15 inches long and 8.5 inches wide. A seller claims they are stronger than T5s and the 250 watt Feliz. Company claims that they have the ability to increase yield by more than 30%.

I have to try this out! I love CFLs no matter how much anyone hates on them!! I have seen only one grow using these, but he had awesome buds and I'm very curious to try this out and possibly put other people onto it if it really does what it says. And please, no one ask me why I didn't just buy an HPS or HID...this is what I will be growing with, period!

The skunk has fully sprouted and is now 3 days old:




The blueberry is peeking out of the soil :) Will post some pics when she full unfolds. Still waiting on the Train Wreck to show. I buried her two days ago showing a taproot from paper towel germination.
