I love pipe cleaners. I taught my younger sister about 3D shapes with pipe cleaners and straws, funny thing is I've never used them to clean my pipes haha

I know right? I am cheap as hell so am all about low cost solutions.
Actually, that is the second reason they came in handy, to clean my pipe. I dipped them in soap and water and pushed a couple back and forth throughout the pipe a few times...went from un-smokable to so smooth that I wasn't ready for the monster hit that ensued.

Ready for the magic? Ok. if it's a little hand pipe. Get a jar that it can fit in with the lid on. Put it about 3/4 to 4/5 of the way full with rubbing alcohol, put about 1/3 to 1/2 of salt... SHAKE THE FUCK OUT OF IT... Let it sit for about an hour... SHAKE THE FUCK OUT OF IT for like 5 minutes. Take it out of the jar... ?????????.... Profit.

Lol yeah with a broken pipe. Put my glass pipe in a glass jar? I do similar but just use a ziploc. I used to use salt in there too. Now I just leave it submerged in alcohol overnight Rinse it off and it looks like new!

THe oNly cleaning I use the pipecleaners for is for my one hitter. I don't like when it drips resin into the wood case
And I'm über cheap! I only clean my pipes to smoke the res when I've been out for long enough to lose my mind. Ya know, 2, maybe 3 minutes.
My cannabutter must've turned out nice and strong, I woke up this morning and could smell it, an it was in the fridge all night.
I cooked it up in my solar oven yesterday. When I got home from work the oven was in the shade, but my mason jar of butter/weed/water was still reading 158*F. Not too shabby.
This method was nice and easy, with no loss of butter. I kept the jar sealed loosely, and it was vacu sealed when it started to cool. Just like canning jelly.

Agreed, alcohol is the only way to legit clean your pipe! but make sure u rinse dat bitch, i had a alchy hit before lol.

Whenever I run out of 91% rubbing alcohol I sometimes use mouth wash. It works, but the next bowl tastes minty and not in a good way if when I rinse it. I regret it every time. Ash and dried resin taste 100x worse though.

When I make cannabutter I use the crock pot, and it eventually ends up in large ice cube trays. Works out nice because each is almost exactly 1/4 cup

Simple Green does wonders, best cleaner around works way better than alcohol, and it's cheap and non-toxic you can find it at any home improvement store. Pipe cleaners work great for getting the caked on resin and fitting in small holes like carbs.

Simple green ftw. I used it to clean nicotine off the walls and it worked great. (not from me btw)

Well then, i learn something new everyday! Gonna freakin go pick some up! Also, i can attest to simple green as well! Used nothing but that shyte to clean an entire factory! Office and workshop! used to be a janitor haha. Had a slew of cleaning chemicals but that one worked best so i only used that haha.
