Tomorrow, I am putting all my seedlings under the MH! Then I am going to throw down a seed to veg for a while in the sterilite bin...haven't decided who the lucky girl will be yet. Will work on it tonight after doing some strain reviews :).

Congrats on the light setup. I got the exact same package deal except I went with the 600W. I've had mine for almost 2 months and love the hell outta it. The only suggestion I would have is upgrading to a better brand of bulbs, especially the hps. Enjoy!! see ya back on the 600.:)

Damn Lady J, You have reached the big time quickly...lol. Nice lookin light setup. You'll be blasting those babies with lots of love and light. Look forward to hearing how well you can keep the temps down. Since I sprung for this LED, I'll have to wait a while for something like that. All the girls in my tent are leaning to that LED and it has changed the color of my leaves in just the few days that I have had it on and running.

And to break it up a bit, another shot of another of my ladies for your thread ;)

Fruit Punch - 55 days flowering, this one's in it's 4th week.
Vegged for two months or so, and trained FLAT with LST and super cropping.
Super fruity smell - almost exactly like fruity gum mmmmm
Stated THC content 22%

Hell yea :) I just finished getting everything set. Only thing to do now is to wait for the lights to come on in the morning! The rope ratchets are super easy, love them already.

Nice, it was a great deal huh? I know the 600 is only a little more but I think 400 is good for a 4x4 area...a little more friendly on the electricity. I love how silent the ballast is! Can't hear it at all. I know the bulbs aren't the best, but I used more than what I planned on my grow budget so the upgrades will have to be another time.

Lol I don't know about big time...but it's for sure a big step up from CFLs. I'm thinking the temps should be good, but we'll see. How much did you pay for the LED? I was considering going that route...but what I paid for a tent and light still wouldn't add up to a decent LED :(. They are incredible though, love the way they look, energy efficient, and it's amazing what they do to plant coloring. I'm sure they pay for themselves in the long run!

I don't now why....but Herbie's is my favorite too. I think it's because their website design is pretty awesome compared to other seedbanks lol.

That fruit punch looks delicious...I bet you smoke real good over that way lol. 22% is a good smoke...you have all those one hitter quitters over there lol. Any signs of the Liberty yet?

Well you actually dilute it with water and then water normally....there is barely any smell, if any at all. As long as you don't mix more than a 1:10 ratio urine to water, you're good to go. Anymore than that will stink.

I did actually find a site one time that auctions off seeds (legally somehow, dunno). Hence why I had a HUGE interest in making seeds at one point. Aint got the space for it just now, but I really want to go there one day soon. It doesn't even look that difficult really...
Some seeds are so damn expensive that it's actually better business to grow the strain just for seeds to sell, as you get more income than from the bud! Mad!

yeah... I think if my first grow is successful I may buy some reg seeds and build a box just for breeding.

Best bang for the buck I could find. I've got mine in a 4 x 4 tent too. Lookin at my bill it didn't change much but I'm doin things to offset the usage. I love the quietness too and it's suprisingly well insulated as far as rf noise. My roomies ham radio gear was a concern but it doesn't interfere at all. I'm in the same boat as you, I'll be upgrading stuff as I go since I'm way over my planned "bud"get already. LOL :peace:

You're first grow eh and you're already thinking about rodelization. I'd say that's brave, but I was exactly the same with my first grow - wanted to try everything all at once! hahaha
I would see how that goes before making plans like that though, my first grow completely hermed and I thought I was pro enough to know but Hell I did! I didn't even know until my came over and said 'mate, your growing out males here' then proceeded to laugh his ass off - I'd say most peoples first grows usually end up wrong in one way or another lol Mine did, proper lol

I think that when I eventually get round to it, I'm gonna have to have a completely separate space for it. Just so it doesn't effect my other cabs . Knowing my luck LOL I KNOW I'd accidentally kill my crop!

Big Bud #1 - Herbies was giving them away recently. Probably the best well known 'standard' food on the market and there is quite a large UK market for it, but it's just not high grade enough for my liking and no where near as good a price per ounce.
However, I seen people selling home grown BB#1 feminised seeds for.....

I'm not exactly sure just how many seeds can be produced from one plant, but I'm sure as hell it'd be more than 60. that's what would be needed to match the price from sold bud at the price shown in above link.
I reckon maybe hundreds of seeds... from one plant. With a good outlet, seed making could be a much much bigger return...

For now though lol I gots buds growing their asses off and I loves it!

Yup :). My kush and skunk that are flowering now were mostly ferted with urine during their month of veg. Everything was 100% healthy! Funny...when I stopped using it and used Fox Farm nutes in flowering, I finally got deficiencies.
