Lady with no leaves?

Morning folks,

I'm currently in the midst of my first grow - a Nirvana Seeds OG Kush Autoflower under a 300w CFL and as one would expect I have ran into problems almost immediately. The seed was planted 7 days ago today (ungerminated) and it has sprouted, it stands at about 1/2 - 3/4 inch tall however is yet to sprout any leaves. I've had it on a 18/6 light cycle watering whenever the soils dry up to a inch deep. Any ideas what this could be?

your cfl needs to be pretty close to the plant.
those parts that look black/purple will fold out and become your cotyledons (first set of leaves)

Yeah I've got it about 2 or 3" from the plant, it's difficult to get it any closer cos the bulb is fuckin' huge. So all looks fine as far as you're concerned? It's probably my beginners impatience getting the better of me.

hehe aslong as its warm enough in the grow area and your not over watering your baby.
keep in mind they dont need stacks of water when there young so dont go saturating the grow medium.
plus the pot youve got it in is a bit too big to start a seed, so that will also stunt the growth a bit as the roots tend to grow out before they grow down.

Temps seem good, i'm trying to find my chi with the watering thing, doingaround about 500ml every day or so but after some reading I'm tempted to cut it back a tad.

Will this stunting due to the pot size have any long term detrimental effects on my lady?

Seedling dont need anywhere near that much water. You can drowned your seedling

Oh, I figured it'd make up for the large pot size but cool I'll adjust my watering accordingly. Thanks.
