I cut some clones of my out side grow today. Just 3. 1 from each of the big plants. Im goin to see if they take root and if they do im going to put them on 12/12 right away. See what i can get out of them. And Ill be able to see if they are male or female..

I killed my inside male yesterday.. Almost made me cry.. All that work and its not even worth anything.

Hope these lil ones pull threw..

Ya i hear people making butter out of the males and what not but its a waste of time for me. Im not interested in any of that.

But anyways... I lost another one. Im down to 16 now... Not sure how many of these are even going to make it. I fried them pretty good with the light... But oh well. Learn from mistakes.

Just got done watering the babies again and changing the water for y clones. I could see some new growth on some of the babies which i think is a really good sign. I took some pics of some of them and pics of my clones like you asked. I also have some new pics of my female. Let me know what you guys think.. And ya i know my babies are looking pretty back LMAO

So as many of you know my first grow didnt go so well. I still have the plants i started with but they have been moved out side to do there own thing. Since i have been here at RIU i have been reading up on 12/12 from seeds because it seems like some thing that would fit my life style a lot more.

My Soil - 1/2 Perlite
1/2 Peat moss

Pots- 16oz red beer cups

Lights- 400w hps, 6-26w 2700k cfls(side lighting)

Plants- right now.. 30 seeds germ.

I will be updating with lots of pics and info just like my last grow. Wish me luck!

Great endeavor Lady Gizmo. Seedlings need no more than a 1x 18 inch Day Light CFL per row of plants 15 inches wide. Your HPS destroyed the seedlings, but the survivors can be said to be STRONG GENES. So you have indirectly filtered out the weaklings, but like people weaklings somtimes have the brains, in this case THC (or hundreds of other genotype).

What i have stated above is probbly common knowldge to you now, but you live on a farm.... You can utilize the most powerfull source of E (The Sun). Why not greenhouse, then you can also grow vegetables and fruit!

Solutions to your setup, the fan blowing on the HPS, gatta go. See if you can screw two axial fans onto your HPS vents. You want the fans to suck air out. Fans are much better at sucking air out than blowing. A/C units use this similar concept. This will bring you down to sub 80, (78 76 F).

THANK THANK THANK!! Finally some useful information!! After reading this I put in about another 30 seeds to germinate and set up an are for my cfls. i have 4 cfls in there right now. I also moved the babies that survived over to the new area. I cant just shut my hps off because of my female...
