Hello and thank you for reading and hopefully for your advise.
A question: Should I use 2x 6400k or 1x6400k and 1x2700k for my vegetative grow ? (I can use only two im my setup) And after I'll go into flowering use 2x 2700k ?
I read somewhere that it's good to combine warm and cool light when they just going through vegetative part. :weed:

You don't say how many watts. I go fo a 70/30 split in veg (mostly 6500) then reverse for flower. But if I was short on watts I'd go 50/50.

This is my first grow and I have 3 105w cfls in a 3'x1' grow area, and am doing the same thing. During veg I have 2x6500ks, then during flowering it will be 2x2700ks. I haven't gotten to this point yet, but I'll probably be swapping the lights as needed. I'm going to be doing a LST grow, and at times I might go 3x6500k when I'm trying to get some length on the main tip wrapping around the pot or on the side shoots. Once they are starting to get some length I'll cut it back down.

I have 2x 125w CFL 6400k and 2x 125w CLF 2700k
They are quite powerful and designed for flowering and vegetation. Each approximately 85$
But I have sockets only for two, so which setup you would recommend ? :o

Thanks you

i like your closet seems you read up on indoor growing, im not to sure about the light setup but would suggest you purchase marijuana horticulture the indoor/outdoor medical growers bible buy jorge cervantes. Tells you everything you need to know about everything (big chapter on light setups). PS love the carbon dioxide setup will be using this myself!

Thanks mate. Wil get this book ASAP. I'm still waiting for my small fan from Ebay.
Will need another bottle and pipe doesn't really work. CO2 is coming out but pressure is not strong enought to push it throught.
Checked with glass of water. Will have thinner bottle between plants.

Hardware stores sell "Y" splitters that turn one socket into two enabling you to double your lights. They are cheap and with four lights you could go 75/25 veg. and 25/75 flower with your spectrums.

I've said many times before: it's not a socket problem :(
I have full lamp with two sockets, look on my journal pictures.
And their size is very very big.
I can have only two bulbs, only two, 2 :)

Union, I don't understand why you can't add another socket using a splitter, it's very easy and retardedly inexpensive. I got my splitters for like $2.75 or something at my local hardware store. My advice without knowing more would be get a splitter and use two 6500K lights and one 2700K.

That said, if for whatever reason you can use two and only two, I'd use all 6500 for veg and all 2700 for flower. Not a perfect solution, as having both temps going simultaneously would be optimal, but at least you'd make more or less the most of what the plants can use in each stage that way.
