As a real estate agent I will tell you a standard lease has provisions inside that deny the tenant a right to poke holes in anything without the landlords permission.
So even if you're going to save the piece, youre still breaking your lease and forfietting your security deposit if your landlord catches you. Imo, not worth the month/momth and a half. Just get a tent.

Poke holes or modify any existing structure without prior consent. Painting CAN be one of the only acceptions, most landlords let you paint without calling them but this needs to be verbally confirmed and I always make my client get it in writing because you never know.
