Late flowering deficiencies

I'm pro flushing in this situation to adjust ph and at the same time account for possible rootzone issues from underwatering. But we all have our ways. I'm by no means an expert just a lifelong pet project. I like to experiment and have tried many things, but never the same way for a long time. About 2 years with this method, and about to switch it up again to try something new. So technically not an expert in anything haha.

I thought about that but risk vs reward. Idk. Can always top dress or bottle feed for more nutes. I work in a few hours so I'm off to bed. I'll be back tomorrow to see how it goes for you. Get some better pics (: best of luck!:leaf:

Edit: Information incase you decide to flush - You can flush to raise ph, I ph the water to 7 or 7.5 depending on how low it is and check the run off as water once its draining. Its gonna take quite a bit of water and she will droop for a few days then bounce back. Just keep running water through and checking the runoff. You don't want to ph the water you use to flush above 7.5. If you're runoff is currently 6, then I would ph water to 7 for flush. Get soil above 6.5. Then put new soil top of pot and water with 7.0 from now on, making sure to have runoff every time you water. I don't know what it is about ffof but that is the water ph point that keeps my soil good prior to using recharge so should work fine for you as your setup is. Let her dry till the pot is light. This will create the wet dry cycle that weed thrives in. If you add nutes when she bounces back, start at 1/4 strength.

When you water, you should be giving her enough water so that you see 10-20% of what you water run out the bottom of pot. She needs a good wet dry cycle, and if you've been watering her like that then she likely has salt/nute buildup too possibly causing the lockout. I like B's idea but I would do a flush to correct the underwatering possible issue in root zone as well. 1/4 to 1/2 gallon is no where near enough for a 5 gallon pot, and that is why you are having to water every day.

Edit: For example, at this point in flowering I would be giving 1 1/2 - 2 gal in 5 gal pot to get 20% runoff.

So do not w8 for drying, when you get you Olympus up, take your plain RO water and water for regular runoff 50%, than immediatelly prepare food solution only PK included (any N presented!!!, use some booster or something similar max 3/4 dose) and adjust your solution by Olympus up to 7,0 max and water for another huge runoff. Than let it dry and feed half dose including N!

I always use pH up after mixing all of the nuts when I feed, coz my pH drops around 6,0 so I adjust it around 6,55-6,85. When I do not feed I need to use few drops of pH down coz my tap is 7,75 after 2 days chill... somebody can say use it before adding nuts but you must know the amount to get the final suitable pH...

So I flushed and tested the water. It’s high in nitrogen and very low in phosphorus which makes sense. But I’m confused on how that is when I gave it bloom nutes recently. Her are some pics

My bloom is 2-4-4 and PK booster 0-11-10 so in total 2-15-14. plants in flower eats less N. So if you did not let the plant eat all of food in the soil yet (Wait for slight def) and added nuts with N than you locked P for flowering. N’s ions also have acid reaction and P is taking up at 6,2 and higher. So adjust your soil pH around 6,7 and you will be fine. Also be low on N until you see slight fade on green colour than go full strenght basic bloom nuts.
 
BTW fotos you have provided shows old dead leaves nothing to worry about. Only you should worry about is that one on the 3rd foto!

Oh yes, I see it. Thanks for the better pics. That is what I thought I could see last night. Sorry it took me so long to reply, I wanted to find a good link for you.

Phosporus signs: Pic 3, purplish faded steaked leaf. Pic 4, the purplish red stems. Yellow crispy leaves from bottom up.

N: Pic 3 is classic N toxitity. Dark green, shiny, starting to curl down, burnt tips. Probably just too much nutes and got locked out. An excess of other nutes will lock out phosphorus. Your ph if was 6.1 was in the right zone so had to be the nutes..

As Buk said, you do need to ph your water, after adding the nutes to stay accurate. But I'm pretty sure toxitity is what locked phosporus out. You know that, since N is high.

She will be ok! Just adjust ph and keep an eye on her. Scrap those dead leaves, they're just sucking energy. Then you will also know faster if new leaves change up. I trim the bottom fan leaves anyways. Idk just me, good results with that and getting the girls to focus more up top.

I seriously wouldn't give her any nutes right now. Let her adjust and see what happens.

Edit: Watering daily like you said you had been would also give her an excess uptake in nutes. Just thought of that. Numerous reasons phosphoros could be locked out thats why I say wait on the nutes for now. Just my opinion but sounds like your tester agreed. It's not gonna hurt to water her the next 2-3 times with just ph water. She will bounce back quicker if you don't continue to give her nutes when she already has an excess causing a lockout..

I spelled so many words wrong I had to edit this several times. Sigh. Sorry lol.

Basicly I havent noticed huge difference between PK 13-14 and my booster. Producer says that it includes a lot of other bacterias, vitamines and sugars but it can be only marketing. You should looking for the same brand booster your basic nuts are. But not familiar to FF so can not be specific...

Any recommendations? I could use fox farm but are there any other quality brands to look at?

I live in Europe so just right now I am using Green Sensation from Plagron plus their basic bloom nuts and Canna pro adjusters (pH up and down) before I was using Cannaboost but with Plagron they look much better so probably I will stay by Plagron. Even before I have used Grotek Monster bloom 0-50-30 but with the same visual effect like PK 13-14...

So my ph up came in today. The directions say to ph it at 6.4. Am I able to make it up to 7 and flush like you said?

Make it first 6,7 and check the runoff. When it will be drop till 6,2 you are okay and next water 6,8 when you drop below 6,0 then go 7,0
