Medium: Ocean Forest Soil

Light: 600w hps 18-20 inches away from tops

ph:6.5

temperature lights on: 76

temperature lights off 70

Nutrients: age old organic bloom

strains: Blue Dream and an unknown clone from a dispensary claiming it was "sour double". sour double is curling the worst. Blue Dream only has one or two fan leaves that look bad.

1 week into flowering

look how the leaves are curling on the sides and curling down. also some are looking like an upside down canoe. Pic ones leaves are curling really badly, they def dont look fine brotha

How is your watering schedule? Are you letting the pots dry out or at least borderline dry before you water? Also, what kind of nutes are you using? If using nutes, you might have some really concentrated stuff that requires a flushing every 4 waters or so.

Are you using ro water ? Look like need more nutes .. Look on top of plants light green mean need more nutes ..... Good luck

alright ill go heavier on the nutes. ive been going like 1/3 strength that is says on the bottle but ill use the recommended amount tomorow when I water.

Your temps are nice and cool, you could be watering too often. In lower temps you have less evaporation, but you still want to give them a good soaking, just not as often.

tell me about it bro. I live in cali by the pacific where its never hot and never cold and I do lights on at night an off during the day.basically all my conditions are ideal and I try and keep it that way so im stumped as to whats causing this. im going to try giving more nutes to these, my other plants are all doing fine. Im going to increase air flow as well. any other ideas?

I mean, they look healthy so I really doubt adding nutrients is going to correct it.

Another fan circulating air might be a good idea though.

my neighbor downstairs said its possible hot spots in the soil that arent getting wet and to add organic dish soap as wetting agent to the water. anyone know anything about that? he said hot spots can cause ph problems and lockout as well as heat stress from the soil even if the room temp is ideal...how could I fix this or know if thats the problem?

I also have the same issues, same plant, @ enviroment pretty much the same. Im going to let soil dry out more before watering.

I think letting the pot dry out better is good idea- do you use a moisture meter? They are super cheap and certainly an asset! Some of my earlier mixes retain water way more at the bottom than others- while the top 3/4's or better get bone dry- yet the plant mimics overwatering symptoms still... either way yours are not bad yet, so you can still catch em if your quick about it. good luck j
