Leaf damage? Dtw coco

If I have to check runoff first to answer my question I can do that I just made new solution of 1.4 ec. So its yet behaving more different than lately recently switching to ph drops. Its 6.0 ph when should be acidic or alkaline.

It drifts in a direction until it equalizes 48 hrs later or so and then it stays for most its life. Minimal adjusting from there.

So I dont want to feed it unstable ph solution I at least add ph up or down. Will have to just keep checking it for 48hrs. First time feeding without adding any ph up or down.

So like tomorrow morning would be best to check runoff. I was going to ask one these days if your ph drifts for the first 24 hrs, can it drift in the pots?

In short Im used to waking up to 6.5ph or little higher. Can it mess with the ph in pots if you fed it unstable ph solution?

With mine, I just ph to 5.8. Then water it in. It'll rise to about 6.0 - 6.1. I use that the next watering. It's not bad to let it run through the ph range.

I just checked runoff idk what I was thinking, its bound to drift when I feed 4x a day or 6x. Runoff is 1.1 ec. Inflow was last 1.1 but today just now fed 1.4ec. So its hungry based on that logic right?

And yea I would let it drift but I use GH ph drops to stay accurate, I tend to abuse ph meters but only issue is I have a hard time determining the colors. To do 5.8 is tough, I need practice but yea it can get to above 6.5ph which is out of range.

Even the lighting in the room refects the light differently. It can look greenish yellow in blue flourecent but with my white light phone flashlight it will show a slight red or just gold.

Will check next feeding. What do you mean add around half? Adding what number from where to my ec?

To keep it simple what should my base nutrients be aside from my ec of .5 from tap? Pretty stoned right now bare with me lol.

I meant if your tap was .3 and your nute schedule called for around 1.2, then make it 1.5 total (1.2 base, .3 tap). But since your tap EC is a bit high, maybe only add .2 or .3 to your total EC instead of .5.

I dont really do a schedule I just do one reservoir for all plants with different timers for flower or veg plants. what ever keeps them healthy and then taper down as I increase frequency or get towards ripe, if I even have to.

Last time I did the mother plants in 3 gal fed 4x a day 1.1 ec but messed up the ph at the end but barely could notice. Now its clones in 1 gal but wow its not acting nearly the same.

Is 11 days simply too soon to see improvement? How much time I got before I can flower if this works?

Is this a good way to convert lux to ppfd? So is this the ppfd roughly? Need to view the photo in full screen to see the light source choices.

Only other thing not tried yet is to cut my tap water if its causing lock out. Would make things way harder though.

Coco was personally rinsed and double buffered but I did wash out the calmg with tap but has calmag in it. Ive been reading from people saying to rinse with solution never plain water.

Doubt thats the issue but never know.

Is this anything to base my grow off of? 1.4ec would be light feed per their chart. Would explain why, am I micro feeding at .8ec?

Is this a hard question to answer, Il try asking..

The strain as shown starts at 1.5x1.5’ with less top sites but huge 3 gal coco. It is in a 2.5x2.5’ footprint. It filled most of it like 2.5x2’ of it. Grew tall.

Now I have clones, close to 1.5x1.5’ with more top sites. Lower canopy. You think it will fill the 2.5x2.5? With scrog net.

Its what I planned but I downsized to one gal and not sure if I will fill it wall to wall. Idk any thoughts?

Tough question but about to find out. I may have to veg for extra two weeks before flip. Maybe just allow the perpetual to vary.

I think raising the EC is working by the way. Starting look better.

edit this will do nice. It wont be too packed if anything and if I get 6oz each il be in business. Align with my goals. The 2x4 will just prune back before flip and if I get 4oz each side il be in tha zone.

I got a 2x2 going too. Im about to overnight seemingly make the quota. Its a slight under estimate including rosin return. Would be switching to only using home grown pretty soon.

It has to keep going too so its like im on a cooking chef show down show and just have all kinds of stuff to monitor lol.

Other clones starting do the same thing. Runoff 1.5ec and 1.4 going in. About to flip to flower in a week. But should fix this first.

Fed twice a day. No dry back so I dont get why feeding more often will fix this but can try. I think its needing even more ec but alot of seasoned growers dont pass 1.5ec with stuff like GH maxi.

Roughly 300ppfd.

Based off runoff and Corey’s suggestion I ought to up to 1.7 and if that not work try cutting the water but I basically cant. No more grow stuff is allowed for a while.

It just didnt seem right, look at what happened just making 1.4ec lol. A lot of it just fell to the bottom. I never fed this high and have it considered light feed especially by other growers here. Doing like .8ec through flower.

Cool how we all have gardens with minds of their own. Fixing coco issues are weird, only few boxes to check and if youre new its easy to get confused.

I think the answers are here already, going to darken the solution even more. The wave maker dissolves the rest but cant pool shock or ph it right away really until disolved,

Mother plants were healthy this whole time. All different tents different enviorment so they act different.

Edit I eaised it to 1.7 and used wisk to pre disolve in bucket aggressively, its not piling up on bottom anymore. Now to give another week.

How are we looking 10 days later? I think 1.7-1.8ec did the trick. Also feeding 6x a day now. Flipped last saturday.

Alright alright! Good morning RIU members hope youre having a baked morning.

So this would be like the 4th time this happened that I get some discolored leafs for no reason. Then it goes away. Still make it to harvest with lots of green growth.

But what is it look like this time? Orange spots. In fact it looked like this my recent grow with an auto. Its on this thread towards beginning.

Pics of the rest showing none of that, its just on one plant.

Could be a light issue BUT I thing that the plant needs a little bit more of calcium, perhaps some other nutrients

Generally, when you flip and they start transitioning, new growth will be light , its because certain nutrients like sulphur and iron are slow moving and then they will green up later.

Orange spots could be CA

Arrggh not my fav place to be but not a huge deal. Is this vpd? 1 Liter floraflex pot 1.7-1.8ec twice a day. 63-72F 30-45rh 24h lighting.

Looks rough on the leaves. Led is next to off position. Its got this double serated tips on few leaves is that mutation?

Hows it looking? Just a crammed off enviorment? Leafs look rough is all I can describe. Dont want stressed clones its a mother cabinet and bonsai mothers.

They are about 2 months old. Also looks defecient.
