Leaf/ overall plant problem

Hey all, this is my first grow and everything was going well but the past few days my plant has been drooping and today I checked and some of the leaves are developing spots and losing color. I haven't changed anything so i don't know what the problem could be. Can anyone possibly help me figure out what the problem could be and what I can do to fix it?

well first off you did not list your setup this looks like it could be underwatered or too much heat. or possibly underferted

Or, with those spots, a pH problem. Do you monitor that?

I have a poor man's set up going. I built the box out of two cardboard boxes. The plant is growing in a 1 gallon milk jug with miracle grow potting soil. For lighting I am using 2 26 watt CFL bulbs. I water it once or twice a day with store bought water. The box has a vent on one side and on the top is a large fan which is blowing out. I check on it quite frequently so it get's fairly decent amounts of air. It is currently on a 18 light 6 dark light schedule/

I do not monitor the ph or any of those other technical things. This was really just an experiment to see how easy or difficult it would be to grow.

And the leaf in the pic is now very shriveled and spotty and is curling up. The leaf on the opposite side is starting to look like that too and the next set of leaves up are turning yellow and slightly spotty. The higher up leaves are still green and healthy looking but are VERY droopy. I will try and post some more pics tonight.

Oh and the room was at about 68 degrees and when i added the second light it jumped up to about 72. The lights have been pretty close and I just moved them up more.

I just realized that the discoloration and spots are actually going down. The next pair of discolored leaves are actually under the original one. The smaller leaves that are coming off of the discolored leaves nodes are looking great though. I'm really puzzled.

Once or twice a day watering is way too much. Do you have drainage holes in your container? Also, constant watering will continuously dissolve the nutrients in the MG soil, causing an over=fertilization problem. You should allow your plant to dry until the pot feels light, then water it until you get runoff from the drainage holes, then don't water until it's light again. The leaves will continue to die off unless you get this right.

Remove the dead leaves; they demoralize the plant!

I also just transferred to a bigger bucket that has better drainage holes. I'll keep everything updated and hopefully it will all get fixed

Man you need more light.
