I plan on transplanting soon. I wonder if that would help.
I have a bachelor's degree in chemistry so I understand pH more than most people. I monitor it very closely. I've always had good luck with FF products until now. I've never had a problem sneak up on me like this. It sucks!!!!
a degree in chemistry means nothing when it comes to growing weed.
(chemists dont grow weed).
and ph is something even my lady knows(its simple).
and yes transplanting in to some descent soil will help.

CHRIS.
i already told you about soil a long time ago.

if thats the case.. and you've done all that.. and checked all that.. i am sure its a micro nute deficiency...

besides calmag are you using any other micro supplement??

I've had good luck with FF soils on my 2 previous grows. Besides I can't find anything else decent and I hate mixing the shit (I have had bad luck with that in the past).

i'm pretty sure 2.5 ml per gallon of cal/mag will raise your ppm to around 200-300 ppm. what if your new soil has another 100 ppm or more, im not saying thats the case, just throwing the idea out there...

but it sounds like most people think its a PH related lock out... maybe so... but i had same thing happened to me and it looked just like that and i know for sure that it was not ph related in my case.

hope you figure it out whatever it is, good luck.

It's Fox Farms. It is supposed to be used for vegging. I guess it has a little less fert in it than Ocean Forest. My second transplant before flowering I transplant into Ocean Forest.

when else would you check it?? lol after you add nutes to the water it will fluctuate the ph of the water.. you want to make sure that prior to feeding its ph'd correctly...

some nutes do it more than others.. and the strength of the nutes themselves can affect it.. but you still should check after you add them to see what its at
i dont test the ph of anything because i know what i am dealing with.
same products = same results.
and thats just mentall saying you mix the feed and water and then check the ph of the feed before giving it to the plants .
but if you want to check the soils ph simply mix the water and feed then give it to the plants then once all the soil is nice and moist(1-2 hrs after feeding) then test the soils ph with a probe in several different places to get an accurate result.
easy as that.

lol damn that was a good guess huh??

like i said i would just introduce the micro nutes to the mix... im willing to put money on that being the problem.. just a small nute def thats starting to show..

I check the pH of both. (I'm just detail oriented like that). It's right where it should be.

any soil with added nutes are bull and just lead to problems.
i read it everywhere i go.

I definitely am always trying to improve my grows so I will be on the lookout but good soil w/o ferts is near impossible to find where I live. I'm lucky to be able to get FF soils to be honest. I live in a very isolated place.

good soil should have everything your plant needs for the first month or so...

i never recommend anyone use anything with "added" nutes....

yea i would check the ph of the feed water... ive never heard of people not checking. Its true that the ph of the medium is the only thing that actually matters but you need to know if your if one of your additives is skyrocketing your ph up to 8.0 or sinking it down to 4.8 or something bad like that. once you know you that you always fall into a safe range than u could skip it if you want.

It might be overkill to check pH of water, feed solution and soil but I've had problems with bad water before so I figure it can't hurt either.
