whats wrong

Too much fertilizer, its called "Nute Burn".

well im not using any fertilizer.

I have the plants growing in only fox fams ocean forest

and on occasion i spray the plants with tap water

Is this nutrient burn very bad for the plant?

What kind of lights are you using, because if your spraying them and have like
a Mh bulb or HPS then that could be the cause of this, but this dosent look
to serious, just stop spraying them and keep an eye on them.

i got a water purifier at petsmart and now the nute burn has gone away as much as possible, but ive been having some watering issues as its fairly hot in the room so the top of the soil is always dry so im going to get a moisture measure thing to end this problem

Im using cfls 27w and 42 ws

Just keep any eye on them, dosen't look serious, if anything maybey a bit to much water.

Im too high and tired to go look back at the top, but a while back i had a pretty nast overwatering, this week ive gotten everything back on track the plants look excellent, but there is still tips that are burned.

I also have a question for you guys, right now im using fox farms ocean forest no other soil just clay balls on top of the soil. I think im going to start flowering in a couple weeks. my most recently topped ice plant is growing well, but before i flower i want the plants to have established tops with 3-4 nodes first. Back on topic though once i do start flowering should i change the contents of the soil, when i transplant im going to be moving the plants into much larger buckets or rectangular pots. This wil be the final tranplant.

Also is there any recomendations of an easy to use nutrient for someone who is going to be flowering for the first time. Ive had 3 other grows with the plants being murdered a week before i was going to start lol. I am going to be doing a scrog with as many 42 w cfls in there as i can get. I just want a nutrient that is very easy to feed the plants, that is a little forgiving if to much is added and somthing that will make my bitches huuuge. Any ideas?

Yeah, I'd suggest using organic ferts if you are worried about nute burn. With most organic fertilizers its virtually impossible for the plants to burn, the way that the nutrients are derived make it so the plant wont take up more than it needs.
As for something that will make them grow bigger, I'd go with 1.Superthrive or 2. Big Bug from Advanced Nutrients
