Why does veryone say it's normal? No, it isn't normal just common for lower growth to yellow and die off during flowering. It's mostly due to people cutting out to much nitrogen. Remove the dead leaves, never just let them fall on to the soil (breeding ground for bugs if you do). What soil and nute schedule and nute type are you using?

The soil is from Asda's, says it has added nutes but doesnt go into details.

Ive just gave them some MG multi-purpose nutes today.

The rest of the plants fine, just these low level leaves
