Leaves burning (pic)

I think that I have the 600 watt MH light too close. It was about 2 feet away from the plants, and I moved it up to about 3.5 feet. It's been 2 weeks and the leaves are still curled up. The temperature does not get above 75 degrees. Any suggestions?

I'm guessing maybe a chemical burn from foliar spray, but I could be wrong. Your nutes could be overkill or deficient. Ph level may also be to blame. 18 inches is good for the light so your distance shouldn't be the problem.

i had the same problem. thought it was due to heat stress from the heaters being on most of the time during that cold snap we had a while back. turns out it was my fault from overwatering. watering a little everyday = bad. especially if the soil has those damn time release fert balls in it. i let the soil dry out alot more between waterings now and they are some of my healthiest looking plants.

looks like a water issue..especially with the shiny-ness of the leaves. i would say you might be over watering and with that over watering, more nutrients are being dissolved and taken in by the plant thus making it look like a burning/drowning plant.

check how much water is being retained when you water....it could be getting waterloged as well....nutrient lockout is a pain in the ass

oh yea and my bulbs are within a foot from my plants and they are fine. put your hand on the canopy. if you can leave your hand there without getting to hot your fine. better yet go to the store and get one of those temp probes for cooking so you can view the temp from outside the grow area.
