Too much nitrogen. Happy frog seems like it’s running hot lately, at least on the west coast. Anybody else notice that?

Fox farms feed schedule runs pretty hot too. In the future start with 1/2 or even 1/4 strength.

There are enough nutes in Happy Frog to last up to 8 weeks. I don't even start thinking about feeding bottle nutes until week 5/6 and even then they probably don't quite need it. If you'd already flipped by then then its different. Fox Farm soil nutes should get you thru veg on their own.

do you use tap water? My tap water has a tds of 500-600. I’ve been considering switching to RO water with Cal/mag plus. What would you recommend?

I use tap but I've got a Boogie filter on the line. Last I checked it was like 200ppm. I use calmag on everything. Its a magic potion. (I only use it if my plants show me that they need it)

What ppm of cal mag would you add to every watering then? Thanks a ton

Dunno what ppm but right now I'm doing 3ml/gal and I'm in early veg stage. Last run it was anywhere from 2ml/gal all the way up to 5ml/gal.
