Roots are looking good... the light is a lil close. I'm not sure if that's affecting it, first grow with l.e.d's. Doesn't look like light stress to me tho. Maybe wind burn?

And if you look closely... the center of some leaves don't have trichomes while the outer edge does. I've never seen that before.

could be too many nutes. Im week at almost week 4 of 12/12 and mine are just popping. I've been feeding 600ppm-950ppm it really depends. nice meet another Chicago grower.

I'm using the Lucas formula so I'm at around 1300 on the .7 scale. Somebody mentioned something about sativa claw. I'm gonna look that up and see what it's about. You're in the chi too?

yea im not far out from the city 20-30 mins max in berwyn :)

idk i just find 1300ppm high on any scale. ec wise i dont like going past 1.7 but some times the plant wants more food then ill give them a higher feed

She's been growing great until a few days ago.... actually she still is... just got the clawing thing happening... could be normal tho...i dunno yet. Lucas formula has worked out pretty good for me. It's simple so I guess it'll be simple in... simple out. I'm in far northwest suburbs lake Zurich

ah my sister lives in wauconda and wants to move to crystal lake so thats cool. im just thinking your plants are just being fed to much imho.

Some sativas can't handle full strength Lucas formula. I use the 5/10 mix and keep them below 1.2 EC for my sativas. I tried a few at 1.4-1.5 ec last grow and they got bitter beer face.

You should try some calibration solution for your ppm meter and see how stoner math has ppm's all over the place.

Lol I've calibrated it recently and I do it regularly. I switched to the Lucas formula in veg cuz it was easier and cheaper... she was deficient before I switched... then she blew up! Been doing great up until now. She seems to be growing good still but this is my first led grow so I was wondering if it could be that. The lights are a lil close and I see a lil light stress but I've seen and done much much worse with hps. Thought it could be wind burn also.

I heard somebody mention something about sativa claw... like it was a normal thing... ever heard of it before? He said he sees it on all his sativa grows now.

Here's a better pic of it... I'm going with n toxicity even tho it's not that dark green. I do see burnt tips tho. I'm not exactly sure... well changing the 8/16 Lucas formula to 5/10 help with the n toxicity without making her too deficient on the pk?

I don't know of any other way to get the N down without changing nutes. I'm lazy and I like the simplicity and ph stability of Lucas formula. Only my Sour D's hate too much N, all my other strains don't have a problem with Lucas. What strain is having the problem?

I got a clone from my buddy...i know it's sativa (most likely hybrid in guessing) but that's all I know. Other than she's starting to get finicky. I'll back her down to 5/10 and see what happens.
