Leaves Curling Inwards. Tips Curling.

Hello Everyone,

I'm new to the site, but have been reading around much. Did lots of research before starting the grow itself.
My problem is the Auto flower Blue Cheese is Curling inwards. Temp stays relatively at 80 degrees Fahrenheit. Not so much fresh air intake and exhaust, which I plan to install in a couple of weeks time. I believe that might be the most important issue in my grow, Fresh air. For the mean time there is a fan blowing on it 24/7. Details are One Cfl with a reflector, in a tent which in my opinion seems to be pretty good. I have seen a couple flies or w/e they are, but I do kill them when I get the chance. Not many at all, very few, mostly on the soil rather than the plant. I plan on buying Organic pesticides at some point during the grow. I also am aware that I need more lighting, Which again I plan on adding to the grow at some point. Soil is mixed with FFOC & Cheap Hyponex Potting soil, I know it doesn't make sense, but I didn't have much soil available. Had to improvise, lol. I'm a newbie and I'd like to continue growing as a hobby and as a lifestyle.

Second Grow is Th Seed's Ultra Sour, which is an photo-period plant, given same treatment as Blue Cheese, soil, lighting, air, etc..
Blue Cheese is in a 9' x 11' pot and Ultra Sour is in a Square bucket that i made holes under with a drill, lol. About 3-5 gallon bucket.
I give it Fox Farm Big Bloom for now, and just gave Blue Cheese some Grow Big. I use Tap water, which i checked has a Ph of 7 and I let it stay out for 24-48 hours for chlorine evaporation. I'm aware that 6.5 is best, but 7 will do, I guess. I am truly aware that If I gave them both more light that they be much more bigger than usual, but right now I haven't been able to provide with that, because I didn't think it through. It's mainly because I don't have intake nor exhaust fans for air and temp control. I also believe Ultra Sour is going to curl as well.

Age: Blue Cheese is 20 days by seed and 18 days by sprout (when it popped out of the soil). Ultra Sour is 15 days by seed and 11 days by sprout.
Extra Info: I have a 400w dimmable ballast, lower the power to 50% and plan to use 200w instead of 400w because of how hot it became with no great ventilation.
So I plan to use a 200w HPS after a good month. When I have the proper equipment of course, and If not, then CFL grow all the way through.
Will Post Pics, hopefully someone can give me some advice, opinions, or help, that would be nice. Pics taken on July 7th.

Thanks,
Fellow Beginner.

I personally don't think it looks over fed. No burnt tips and no n tox symptoms to me anyway. I have the same issue on one of my plants

Yu already know, get some FAE in your garden, and how close is the fan, could be dryn out ur leafs
EDIT: you can get a 6" inline fan from homedepot for like 30$, that's what I use in my tent, just put the fan in the vent whole on the top of your tent sucking air out

Your plants are too deep in the pots. Add more soil so the vegetation is above the rim of them. They aren't getting enough air circulation, so humidity builds up and the plants can no longer dissipate moisture. Thusly, the leaves curl at the fringes.

Haha, Exactly my Problem solver, The Inline Fan, I shall buy it soon. I also looked around and I found a good thread about having a fan blowing directly at the leaves which help quicken dryness, I believe that was the major contributor to the curling. I know for one thing these girls can handle 80 degrees and also handle the lighting, just one cfl each plant.
The Curling is much less now that I have re-directed the fan. Lol, Problem Solved. Thank you very much.

You bring a good point. I think I'm going to have to add more soil for sure. I kind of estimated pretty bad. It's exciting as a first time grower, truly a learning experience, whether a marijuana plant or not. Thanks for your contribution, will definitely take into account.
