potpimp Sector 5 Moderator Nov 13, 2007 #8 I think the HPS is overkill. Personally, I use CFL's to get my babies started - sure burns a LOT less 'lectricity than the 1,000w HPS. It looks like you might have acid burn on your plants. What is your pH and how are you testing it?
