Leaves look perfectly healthy but are starting to droop

This just happened like 1hour before the dark period, they were fine all day until now. I was unable to take pictures as I saw the problem literally minutes before my timer shut the lights out.

I'm growing indoors in soil, the pots are 3gallons and the plants are about 2-2 1/2 feet tall. I just started my 2nd week of flowering today(plants are about 6weeks old) and haven't had one problem until now. I wish I could take a picture or two to show the actual problem but I am hoping that they will be fine and the dark period will give them atleast a little time to recooperate if possible.

Any feedback on what may be causing this would be greatly appreciated, and I will post pictures as soon as i'm able to.

how bad was the drooping?

not every leaf but probably about half were a little under level(flat) if that makes any sense

I'm really hoping it isn't rootbound, but i'm thinking with my luck that probably is the problem. I feel so uneasy about transplanting while im in flowering stage *sigh*

Mine start to droop like that right before lights out to. They are fine once the light comes back on.

w/o a pic its hard to tell for absolute sure but it doesnt sound like something to worry over.

I hope I am just being a worry wart. I haven't noticed this problem before so it's the only reason i'm a little uneasy(not to mention i've been smoking)... Hopefully they were just pooped and needed a rest, i'll post some pictures @ "sun-up" if the condition hasn't improved to see what you guys think

If they were to be root bound then an earlier transplant would be better than a late one or none at all at the second week of flowering, with 3 gallons of soil and only 2 and a half foot of growth you should be fine here but pics would definatly help as well as temps lights on lights of and fert schedule.

If you cant take pics i'm gona have to say not root bound and possibly a temp/overwatering/fert issue which covers a lot of different scenarios but are easily checkable i.e. lower temps and discontinue ferts for two weeks etc etc Good luck and invest in a decent 10mega pixel camera when you next have any readies!

When you say the second week of flowering do you mean 2 weeks ago you switched to 12/12 or its been two weeks since flowers started to appear????

Thanks for the response Kingrow1, what is the ratio like on height -> pot size? I'm pretty good about keeping my temps. stable, 75-80 degrees F. I'm using a 4foot 4tube T5 fluorescent with 4 smaller 25watt bulbs to fill in any dark spots the overhead T5 has problems penetrating. I'm using FoxFarm line nutes (Open Sesame @ 1/4 tsp a gallon, Grow Big @ 3 teaspoons a gallon and Botanicare Sweet @ 3 teaspoons a gallon) my soil is FoxFarm OceanForest

I prefer other peoples suggestions on the thread and without pics its hard for anyone to tell but as a visual reference here is my 2foot 4 tube t5 lightwave unit, the fan at the back cools it and the wardrobe door its in stays open all the time, my t5's kick out some heat and are quite hot when the room is warm, in a small grow they heat up an enclosed space quite quickly.

did you water your plants? droopy plants its a root problem... maybe your soil is too salty/ lack of water/ rootbound/ root disease

They were fine when the lights came back on ... Maybe they were just a little sleepy?... They look just fine now though thank god

Id say your not in the second week of flower if you only turned lights back two weeks ago, more like at the start of flowering now.

I would sumise that maybe this recent development in drooping leaves near the end of light on in 12/12 could be from slightly too hot a flowering room. Too hot for the leaves can cause them to wilt down a liitle then fix them selves back up in the coolness of the dark period. Of course this is all just still guesswork except the part about you not being in the second week of flowering. Peace
