By bottled nutes I meant only non organic bottled nutes not organic bottled nutes.

and yea that extra chlorophyll extends curing time.

end of week 5? or end of week 5 in flower?
either way, why?
you're just ripping off the solar panels that produce light energy for your plant.
The fewer leaves you have....the slower production is....
week 5 of flower. I do it for SOG, 10 day veg. I take fans, so I can lolli less and
= more buds. You have to know your phenos nutritional needs really well prior
but, I have tried everything and this is what works for me best.

I didn't loli at all... I sog trained so crazy that the bend of the stalk was only an inch from the soil so lollipopping really didn't make sense.. Serious bushes.

thats why now that the top canopy and mid level bud sites are almost ripe I opened the bush up by removing all fan leaves for the last 10 days...

im just making these moves by listening to my plants. Watching them react to the training and then adjusting my steps based on that.

Healthy green leaves are leaves that are still producing food for the plant to grow. The goal should always be to keep your leaves green and healthy as long as possible so they can in turn keep feeding the plant to build as much flower mass as possible.

I agree with Huel, I have followed that mantra with any plant. I do find that no matter what strain I run I get the bottom two largest fan leaves yellowing on me and I know that the plant has everything it needs so I'm not sure why this happens.

If leaves aren't getting any direct light the plant may naturally discard them.

That's not to be confused with plants lacking in nitrogen though... I've been doing a little experimentation lately using more of a veg based feeding regiment through my entire grow and got great results. Then I decided to take it a step further, I replaced my bloom booster (General Hydroponics Kool Bloom 0-10-10) with high nitrogen veg nutes (Dyna Gro Foliage Pro 9-3-6). Long story short, I'm never using a bloom booster on cannabis again.

all in all, it was one of the most fun endeavors I have invested in... And that's before I even have any meds
