Leaves Seem To Be Changing Direction

I am a new grower looking for some advice on my grow. Details and everything can be found in the link below, but I would appreciate some help with this issue I have occurring.

I know it seems odd to have two threads going (Journal and Issue) but I was hoping to get a few more responses from in here as I know more frequent it looking to help others out.

Hope to remedy this without too much problem.

Just noticed I may have used the wrong type of ph down/up which may be causing this issue. Would this type of reaction occur due to incorrect type of ph down/up or do you guys think this may be due to something else?

Just going to re-iterate that the PH levels are fine, I just think that I am using an improper ph up/down solution.

the wrong ph down ????? they are fine. it is normal. the problem is with the breeder that made the seeds. it wont hurt anything they wont all come out like that. not every leaf on every plant can be perfect shape

It seems like your light is to close or to intense, I just did a grow with my mh from start seemed to have the same effect your having and they got worse and worse. I did another grow after and started them off with cfls and haven't had any problems I'll switch them to my mh around 2 or 3 weeks old. I was reading correct me if I'm wrong someone that it's making the leaves use more water than the roots can absorb. So my suggestion is switch them to cfls for a little bit than once they get established switch to the mh far away and lower the light every day or so a couple inches at a time.

I increased the height of the plants for the MH, I unfortunately dont have CFL's so I am hoping the increase will fix the issue. Thanks for the responses, hopefully this will quickly fix the issue for me.

I may have had the light too close which caused them to get dried out way too quick. The plants almost looked crusty and dead but since then they seem to be looking much better. With the light down and the correct PH and PH down being used (was using sodium based ph up and down apparently) they are looking much better. I also picked up some Grow Nutes while I was there, when should I be adding them in?

Not tell week 2 probably now week 3 start off slow like 100ppm of nutes and work your way up
