i need some help with my plant, i think its a little past day 10 or somthing, my plant only has a total of 6 leaves, and i can see 4 smaller ones comming in, 2 of the bigger leaves are drooping down, and get darker green on the tips.... what can this be from? i have three 23w cfl lights on it, they are about 3 1/2-4 inches away from the plant, and the plant itself is a little over 2 inches. i havent watered it in about 2-3 days... can this caused from lack of water?

i read somwhere that plants can grow "slower" and can be "special" if they grow to a seedling and there seed is still attatched to the top. that did happen to this plant..

what should i do?
thnx

your leaves are generaly spose to be darker green as they mature i honestly wouldnt worry about it unless all the leave start drroping and turning yellow or brown

alright sweet thats good to know, its been 12 days and the plant ony has a total of 4 full grown crinkled leaves,2 first smooth leaves lol, and another 4 small small krinkled leaves just comming in, like youd have to look hard to see it. is it normal for the plant to be this small? is it bad? can it be fixed?

O.K. It sounds like you are in soil. Your watering is fine. If you have them in a small pot or cups, they are ready to be transfered into a larger pot. Too small of a pot will stop their growth. Other than that it might be needing some nutrients. Also check the PH level of the water you are using. It should be around 6.5 and no higher than 7.0. Seedlings start out with 1/16 strength nutes every third watering. slowly increase to full strength.

im not really using nutes on this grow cause its a bag seed and idk if its female or not, its a first closet grow.. ill take some pics..
ok these are shitty cell phone pics its the best i can do.

and there planted in standard size red party cups. regular soil, i let the water sit open 24hours to let it declorinate and im going to switch to bottled water.(poland spring ect..)and as i said i dont want to use nutes, im going to buy some seeds off nirvana once i successfully grow a plant.

i hate bumping my topics but its the same problem and i didnt want to make a new thread..

its been 16 days, 3 or 4 days since i transplanted into the 2 litre soda bottle.. why the hell is it so small? should i just throw it out? im currently using two 40w cfls and one 23w, for this plant alone. i just want to know before i add nutes today, is it worth it? or should i just throw it out? also the 2 bottom smoothe leafes are turning yellow.sorry for the crappy picture.

Do the cups have drainage holes in them? They should. Feed em. Nitrogen causes folliage growth.

it looks like you may be overwatering a bit the leaves look a little droopy, the 2 smooth leaves are not really leaves and it is natural for them to fall off. use very sparingly on the nutes 1/4 - 1/5 strength and slowly work your way up. you will also need a different nutrient for flowering

alright cool, ima try to get a ph and moisture meter soon, what about the fact that its been so many days and its that small, is it worth keeping?

Do the ph thing, water them a bit less.
Also the cfls need to be about 4-5cm away from the top of your plant not 4" and you need a fan on them blowing lightly at first to make sure they dont get to hot:blsmoke:

Put the fan so it blows on the plant and on the cfl bulbs and helps to keep them cool:blsmoke:
