So these two plants have been in veg for about one week (one a few days more). The biggest is Greenhouse's The Church, the second is DP Orange Bud.

I've been feeding them about 2ml of BioBizz BioGrow to 1 liter of water about every other day. Now the leaves on the Church and Orange Bud just started to wilt the slightest bit and I see the beginning of yellowish lines in the middles of the leaves. It's not every leaf and it's very slight. From reading I figured maybe it might be a PH issue but I would like some more opinions since this is my first grow.

400w MH, temps about 75-80F and humidity around 40-45%.

you can't really see but one of the bottom leaves on the big plant has yellowish (dark pee color almost) spots in the middle of it if that helps diagnose it...

stop watering and feeding these plants don't need to be fed for weeks after they sprout and water every other day is going to give you root rot the soil has to nearly dry completely out before the next watering to give the roots the oxygen they need

thanks for the help bro. i will take your advice and stick to basics. ill let the soil get dry about 3 inches deep before i water again. i think the problem is my soil has no perlite in it so it just stays wet all the time (store ran out of it). will report back in a few days...

so i've flushed it with 6.4 ph mineral water. after some extensive reading I found that because I'm using reverse osmosis water (for which i have a filtration system) I had a magnesium deficiency (and perhaps calcium as well). all the pictures i looked up were exactly the same thing as what i have. so i hope the mineral water will give it enough to jump start with, and from now on I will water the plants with the RO water and some blackstrap unsulphered molasses in there for extra calcium and MG.

will update with pics in a few days....aside from the slight wilting though the plants are really taking off and growing at an amazing pace! every day i see a new set of leaves :)

its nothing to do with your water, do not be feeding them plants not for at least 3/4weeks,longer even

EDIT: After rereading I realize you probably mean no nutes? But anyways why does every description and picture of magnesium deficiency seem to describe exactly what my plants are experiencing

im really confused about this....why do my plants display the exact same symptoms as magnesium deficiency? the leaves are yellowing a bit and even have small yellow spots in the intravenous areas of the leaves and some of the lower, larger leaves are curling up in a non-uniform pattern around the edges. the descriptions and pics are the same as what i have. yet....two people are telling me not to feed any nutes and that's it??

furthermore, i suspect that because i used some cheap ph down powder to treat the water it must have not dissolved completely in the water and built up in the soil over time and brought the ph down too much. i say this because many times i would add the powder and get to a point, around 7, where i would have to add a ton more powder just get the ph down slightly. so i think the water would become overly concentrated with ph down and therefore needed alot more to bring the ph down, at which point it would stay in the soil and slowly dissolve, bringing the ph down.

this would naturally cause nutrient lockout, hence the magnesium deficiency. i've since stopped using the powder and am purchasing liquid ph down grow & bloom tomorrow - it was a newb mistake i know but learn as you go.

so am i really overthinking this whole thing or does that sound logical to anyone?

If anything that looks like a heat issue. Your just going straight for what everyone else does.. nutes nutes nutes nutes nute problem.

if you want good airation in soil try using earthworms...i know it sounds somewhat odd but read up on them...they are extremely beneficial to soil and improve drainage/airation. it works for me

the drainage isnt the problem, plus the water i give them is straight from my brand new reverse osmosis filter and it's extremely oxygenated...i have read up on earthworms but i just dont have access to them here

Im curious how close are your lights to the plants?
the light is a 400w MH and it's about one foot above the plants....but the temperature is DEFINITELY not the problem. I've got the temperature at the canopies at around 77F max and humidity stays between 40-50%. i have a portable A/C blowing into a fan which blows straight at the light and a small fan directly under the light blowing at the bulb. i hardly feel heat if i put my hand 3 inches away from the glass and entire light housing is, at worst, warm to the touch

p.s. you can see better pics of the setup if you click the link in my signature
EDIT: scratch that the pics on my grow journal are pretty old and i've improved the setup alot since...and all these problems appeared in the last couple days
