ive searched around and there seems to be a whole bunch of speculation about this...my healthiest plant seems to always want to stick straight up heres some pics of it not standing up and what its doing right now

whats the reasoning for this? is it a good or bad thing?

its releasing gases like poison to it when it stands up and when they are down its either sleeping,underwatered,over watered
