Leaves turning copper - excess of chlorine?

Hey guys! After yesterday's feeding a few of my plants had their intervenous leaf matter turn a deep copper/bronze color as seen here:20200414_195511.jpg

My best guess is it's an excess of chlorine but I was hoping someone could confirm. Not sure where it would come from unless my town suddenly upped the amount in our tap water. I don't think there's enough in the GO nutes to cause it but if anyone knows differently please let me know. I'm pretty heavy handed with the nutes so I'll be flushing them either way to clear it out but I'd like to track down the source.

It's not affecting my autos but they are in much bigger pots.

Interesting. Thanks for the advice, I'll have to bust out my pH pen. I haven't had to adjust my pH since I switched to soil so I rarely check it these days.

Yeah, I learned that the hard way trying to get away with a cheap TDS meter when I was doing DWC. I'll have to pick one up. Hopefully the local hydro shop has one so I don't have to wait on Amazon.

I think you hit the nail on the head Renfro. Good looking out man. According to my little Hanna Checker (after it throwing errors the first three times I tried to calibrate it, piece of junk) my water is going in at 6.8 and runoff is 6.2. Definitely going to get one of the meters you recommended tomorrow just to make sure. Any tips on raising the soil pH? Since I'll be making a trip to the hydro shop I'll just grab whatever I might need.

Heyyo Renfro,
Im exactly having the same issue. Using BIobizz Light Mix, checked my Soil PH and it says its 5.6. Since organic Soil should have the microbes do the ph-buffering, Im still wondering if i should try to aim for 6.3.
My feeding water is messured at 6.2-6.4 everytime. ph-upped by adding sodium bicarbonate.

If its the ph-zone, can i use sodium bicarbonate to up my soil ph?
