Hey guys,

I haven’t been able to find anything online matching these symptoms, so I’ll try to give as much information as I can.

You can see how the title matches the symptoms. Only certain leaves are pigment, and they seem to be all older ones that were previously suffering deficiency. That being said, I still can’t find anything online to match these symptoms. I am fairly certainly that I was previously ph’ing my water wrong, and I was overwatering the soil immensely for a while, so this plant has been pushed pretty hard. Now that I’ve fixed my watering practices however, I am struggling to figure out what more I can do to help this plant. You can see that discolouration is not fully taking place in new growth, although it is quite pale and slightly splotchy in places. The new growth however is also suffering in other ways it seems, being quite heavily clawed, and folding or curling in places sometimes.

This plant is currently in soil. She is just over 3 months old, and she’s had a rough life I’ll tell ya. Money has been tight, so there have been stretches where I haven’t been able to give her what she needs. For example the seedling wasn’t fed nutes (it was started in coco) until about a month in... heh.

So what do you guys think?

Time to start feeding. The soil is exhausted. The over watering may have washed out some of the organic nutrients.

Hey guys, just thought I would give you an update on the plant.

She’s bounced back quite well, especially now that I’m feeding her some proper nutes. First feeding of iguana juice and ancient earth yesterday and you can see she is looking much happier.

You can see a new topping site here is being quickly replaced by 3 beautiful new tops, and the new growth is looking quite healthy.

These highest tops are looking exceptionally healthy as well.

Thanks for the help guys:)

hey, glad to see she recovered!

my seedlings seem to have a similar deficiency, i started with coco and didn’t add any calmag or nutes.
First seedling is 24 days since planted in coco, just starting to grow the 3rd set of leaves and older ones turned pale yellow.
I started feeding nutes yesterday as well to my 11 days seedlings.
Now ordered a calmag bottle after seeing your post!
