ok well i have 5 clones under 10cfls(26w) and 7 t8's(15w). lights are 1-2inches above the plants. they look healthy but today i started to notice the the lower leaves are starting to turn yellow and a few of the upper leaves tips are brown. The temp is usually between 70-88. everyone once in a while it will jump to like 94. humidity is constantly between 30-60%. i havent PH'd my water but i am going to start now and i think i overwatered it yesterday. HELP!!!!!!

You have locked out nitrogen with a pH imbalance. Look up nitrogen deficiencies. Adjust your pH and the plant should recover. The brown tips are because some of the nutes are more readily available in to high of concentration when your pH is off. Giving the plant a slight nute burn. A pH of 6.2 is best for little plants in soil where as they get bigger 6.7 is best for them. I would make sure you are adjusting your pH every single time you water to keep them healthy.

i would suggest flushing your plants with ph'd water for the next 2-3 waterings then re-start feeding at half strenth for 2 feedings...by then the problem should correct itself..peace az

You don't say how old the clones are. When they are trying to root they will draw the nutes from the fan leaves. You also need to get the rock wool below your soil......

imo to keep things green an not start lockups or buildup off salts..i water, water, feed, water, water,an feed...this is to keep the soil from building up salts...also whn watering its a good idea to water till over flowso that old water an salts wash out...doing this an keeping your water an nutes ph'd will keep the soil ph'd an have happier plant...peace az

thanks for all your input. today i bought a ph test kit and tested the ph of my tap water and it was 8.5. i then tested the water after filtering it through my brita water filter and amazingly it was 6.5. what a big difference!!! but me being a big dumby that i am i was watering it with tap water. oh well you live and you learn. no more tap water. also have any of you ever used amonia sulfate 21-0-0 on your plants for nitrogen? my uncle said i should use some in my next watering. but he only grows outdoors and doesnt have experience with indoor setups. can anyone shed some light on this. i dont want to give them anything i shouldnt.
