Could very well be calcium or magnesium...are you rootbound?
I got 12 plants under 3- 4ft 8 tube t5s, they're 5 weeks old and using techna flora grow, magcal and sugar daddy, stared 1/4 strength slowly worked up to 500ppm so far at 6.5 ph, the white you see is not powdery mildew it is diatomaceous earth used to kill a small infestation of fungus knats, which could ve causing my problems but i wanted to be sure.

Give it a higher strength dose of calmag and transplant into bigger container. It should solve your def.

well if you have fungas gnats your soil is to wet and thats probably whats causing the leaf issue

I would say its a cal mag problem, main stem is turning purple.

Hey all. Im new to this site but ceased getting responses on another so here goes. Im on my second grow. Soil. Fox farms ocean floor. No nutes yet. Week three a veg 2 gal pots. Cfl and tube f louro lighting. Im not sure what is happening her . Posting pics. Hope thus was the right place to ask.

Problems started quickly at the lower leaves but this is a large middle fan leaf. New growth looks good. A little slow. But 3 plants doing this and 3 seedlings four inches tall perfect as well as one plant thats fine. Much shorter and younger than the sick ones though. Please help
Fox Farms soil IS hot......that is a well know fact. Many people delute their soil with other's soil (like a pro-mix or sunshine #4) to help with this type of problem. I wouldn't worry about it though as the rest of your plants look fine. I'd just pluck the bad leaves now and move on.
The thing is they all looked like that at first then bam one day the tips just toast and then it spreads up as the lower leaves die. But the fiurth plant is already past the size the ither ones were when symptoms began. And not even its first leaves are burned. But i am noticing a couple tiny whitish spots on one of her leaves.
