Leaves yellow and short

The two first food leaves just died. 2 leaves after that just turned yellow/green. Then the next set which is small are a good healthier looking green and they have two small green leaves growing beside them. Then there's another set coming through the middle. The plant has nodes of 1-2-3 centimeters apart. It's about 3-4 inches tall and I need some help on what to do. I've never had a plant this short and weirdish looking at 2 weeks.
