Leaving a stealth grow box for a few days?

anyone ever left a grow box unattended for three or four days? Concerns are malfunction, heat/electrical fire, and lack of water? I may have to leave for 3 nights! Its a CFL lit box, so as long as the fan keeps up fire shouldn't be a concern. Any other thoughts?

I've left a small one with 4 42W CFL's and a computer fan running for 5 days and all 4 plants were fine, my temps were between 67-81F so not much water evaporated and humidity was pretty high about 67% and my plants were young and exploded with growth and i was close to burning them with the lights 1 was actually a little above the lights. There was a little stretching too cause i raised the lights just to make sure i didn't burn them, but i guess not enough and just ended up lucky.

is there anyway you could throw another fan in there?? that would definalty solve that heat problem, however the water problem might still be there. If you do put another fan in there you would have 2x the water loss than you would with one fan(your moving 2x the air and then you have diffusion and all that stuff...) so there you go. just some ideas.

I have left my outdoor grow for a week or two without even a visit.

Hey Happycamper-

Was it a fully enclosed one, like a rubbermaid tote? I imagine it'll be fine, and it would be just in the beginning while they are still small. With any luck I could start flowering after 2-4 weeks and shut the power off to harvest after another 4-5, before I have to leave for 4 days a second time later in the summer! Better than to leave a huge plant for 4 days. It's my first so I'm not sure how many weeks everything takes? I know it varies, but generally speaking does that timeframe sound reasonable?

Yeah, I'd have one vent. fan and one inside to circulate air over the lights. That should keep things nice and cool.
