leaving flowering plants for 5 days?

gonna be leaving my plants for five days, 3 bubblicious flowering for 3 weeks. i was going to take out the 600watt hps im using now and put in 325watts of flouresents while im away because they wont dry out the soil as much as the hps. would this be o.k? would it affect the plants? im gonna give them a good watering aswell.:bigjoint:

Don't change the light; just water 'em up right b4 you go; they'll be fine (assuming a decent pot size, 2-gal or better)

yeah the ventilation's fine, the weather's still cold enough in this part of the world so that shouldn't be a problem. if i put in flouresents they'll bring the temp down a bit aswell.:eyesmoke:

you shoulde be fine using the fluoro lights but i would just water them real good before you leave. what size containers are they in? 3 gal or more give it a good water and you will be fine. if it is going to bother you while you are away then ease your mind and put those fluoros in there it won't hurt em.

I had this problem before...I rigged up a fish tank water pump on a timer to give them some water while i was away....5 days w/o water ain't gonna be good under HPS...I wouldnt switch to floros at this point even though the plants would probably be good water wise if u did

do you think it would affect the plants if i changed the lights? if so in what way...slow growth? smaller of buds? going to put the hps back in as soon as i get back.

I don't think it would affect them much at all...I would definitly try to keep it under the HPS...grab yourself a $35~ water pump and $5~ timer and rig up an auto watering system just to give them some water while you're away.
