Leavs and bud turning purple need help

Hey guys it starting to get cold up north quebec and most of my buds and sum leavs are starting to get purple wondering if im loseing her and if not is she still smokeable gonna post a couple pics and the nutes im giving her

That could be due to genetics or it could be a bacteria phytoplasma spread by chewers like leafhoppers.

Look closely at the leaves and bud sites for deformities. A couple of your pics look normal and healthy, but the third and fourth pics look suspect.

Edited to add - they will grow out of it but Ive found the bud sites dont grow as healthy as the nonaffected sites. For years I assumed it was just one of those things that happens with outdoor grows as the temps dip and the heavy rains come...until I took clones from an outdoor plant and watched it spread inside to all the other cuts under a dome in the same tray. (sometimes I take cuts from plants outside as a way to revive old genetics. I've learned I need to be much more careful)

Tell that to all my plants that are green all year and purple outdoors in the winter. Strange that you don't realize temp changes color where you are located

Yes yes yes. Don’t let “cold weather normal color” or “P deficiency “ misdiagnoses spred this disease blight faster than it already is. Affects hemp and will destroy outdoor gardens.
O here’s a cold 86f water room that really brought out the purple. Actually it’s querkle cross. Genes bring out color.

A purpleish fade on fan leaves is different than purple buds.

I have. With strains that purple. It’s not a coincidence it happens as light hours change. Do you also believe pouring ice water around one will turn it purple?

Duplicate it with every strain in summer hours and I’ll start to believe.

It's probably due to the cold. P is harder to absorb in low temps. It could be the strain too. If the actual buds are purple it's genetic. If it's just leaves and stems it's probably just P deficiency.

No, you wont get sick. But if its due to phytoplasmas and not cold/genetics, it will spread.

I guess this is just another one of things where if you know, you know.

Its unfortunate this site has become so watered down. Oh well, happy growing.

I’ve got plants limp from freezing. I’m southwest of Fairbanks Alaska. It’s cold here eh? I grow multiple strains. Only those with purple in the genetics turn purple. I’ll call bullshit to the cold causing anything but plant death when it gets low enough for long enough.
