LED and the Growing Environment

I'm very intrigued by the question of environment and its effect on growth when using LED lights. Of course the environment plays just as important a role, regardless of what type of lighting you're using, but it's the differences between the environment under LED (compared to HID) that really interest me.

So it seems to have become common knowledge that you should run higher temps when growing under LED, due to the lack of IR and the fact that leaf temps will be lower under LED than HID, at the same room temp. But I've also seen growers that appear to have good results even without bringing their temps up. So I thought it would be cool to ask everyone what their environment is like.

What size is your grow space? What LEDs are you using? What are your temps at lights on, during veg and during flower? What is your RH? In actual practice have you noticed any benefit or any detriment to higher (or lower) temps? Is there any other environmental factor that you feel should be handled differently, based on your light source? For those in challenging grow environments, how do you mitigate those challenges?

I'd love to gather some data, folks...

My tent (to date, only used for flowering):
2.5'x2.5'x6'
250w QB (3000k)
80°-82°F
RH 50-55

I haven't been using LED long enough to really form any concrete opinions or make any data-driven observations about the environment, but I'd love to get some input from the veterans here.

Thanks!

OK, well, northern latitude here, hotish summers cold winters, can't give hard data as such but space is approx 30 sq ft x 5 high, about 600w of mixed white cob fixtures, fan cooled but open cooled into grow space, daytime temps around 27-30C nite temps around 15C with warm air from my veg space used winter nites to prevent chilling. Only noticed a general improvement in plant health/resin production since switching from hps, certainly no detriment to loosing all that hps IR signature.

20 watts per s. ft....? What ever happened to 50 per s.f. baseline ?

I grow some of the best shit in the biggest town too! Not found anyone claiming to have smoked any better, if I were growing for weight, I might want more lum/sq ft but I don't sell my medicine tho everyone asks if i do!
