Led basement grow tent help (humidity levels)

I have my meter right in the middle of the tent, off to the side, inside the pouch. Ive attached a pic of where it is in my last reply. Ive also tried putting it down on the grou d right in the middle of the tent.

Actually your meters not in the worst position but to read air temps we need to omit all light radiation, that empty tent reflects a lot atm.

Humidify and temp control your room not your tent - how we control our tents as if room temp rises so does tent etc etc etc. Place humidifier heaters in room not tent.

Fan looks overkill, small clip on blowing away from plants better but probably you have enough air flow and exchange with just your inline fan and filter.

Food for thought, i love the setup of tents and there is a lot of clear science to guide how to regulate and read the environment of your tent.

Mainly if you sucking 38%rh 18°c air into your tent in large volumes expect your tent to be pretty similar just by logic and if your tent was 25c the reality of all that exhaust means your room would soon super heat up

It gets hotter if you put it under the light and then hotter again if you keep raising it up into the light - this is simply light radoation and we dont wqnt to read this.

Keep your meter up in the light but place a thick sheet of card between the light and the meter - temps drop right....

Obviously if your tents windy this is going to futher complicate matters - hopefully you see why i just asked what the rh and temps were of the room and not the tent

Thanks alot guys. Yes i do see how light can reflect and make things differwnt. Ive place the meter on the back left side about a foot off the ground attached to my poles.
Also i do see how whats on the outside reflects the inside of the tent. Makes perfect sense but when its time to change over tp 12/12, temps and humidity should be lowered and even lower at night time. Should i just turn heater and hum off in the room to get the desired temp? Sorry guys. Im still trying to wrap my head around all this

Your room temps will raise and lower the tent temps yes but 18c will be ok for dark periods

Avoid bad advice, just keep it simple and complete twenty grows. A lot of us just using basic fertilizer, basic soil, tap water and thats it, once your tents set there aint much mire to it

Ok, so word of Advice to All. Make sure your exhaust fan is plugged in correctly while running a humidifier in your tent or else you will run into a major water dropplet bath and over 85% humidity in your tent. Any sudden movements = a shower for yourself and all your equipment. Welp, live and learn guys. Stay dry and stay high.
