I've seen these lights a while back but never in action. 5w leds, 120 degree lenses, built in T8s, definitely a unique design. And if you do the grower feedback and if they can confirm cannabis is acceptable to participate, getting a huge discount might be a great deal if the light truly performs. Someone here should try this out!
im considering it.....

I have seen this website before, I dont know what to think of them but I never had to think too hard because they are way too pricey for me. They must be good for that price!! 2000$ for a 800W light!! I can't see them being 2000$ good hehe

EDIT: They are based out of Kelowna, BC... could be part of why they are so expensive.....
My jaw just dropped, thats a couple hr drive to where i live! Didnt realize they were that expensive tho, i thought watt for watt led was about 2x more expensive than hps. Wouldn't see much proffit first grow once u factor in the operating costs, damn lol. Does anyone here have good advice for a strictly veg LED light for a 4'x4' scrog setup? Budget ~$500

Edit: eshine offers that 126x3W led panels for less than 300! fully customizable spectrum, huh...

I have only used my 90W 5th generation BLUE along with my HIDs so far but it really seemed like it's a great little vegging unit. I will be using it again on some clone shortly but for vegging those FULL BLUE LEDs seem to work really good, I don't think you need much wattage to veg with LEDs. 2 hours from Kelowna hey ... would you agree with my statement : they are based out of Kelowna, BC .... could be part of why they are so expensive!! hehe. That is why I bought a FERO too, ... wanted to support a BC company, they are out of Victoria.

If fero offered something with a square footprint id be alot more interested, my tent as a footprint of 4'x4'.

Haha definitely agree, ill support BC goods whenever possible, but most indoor growing companies here are small and dont get great wholesaler discounts. I heard blue/white combinations were good as well. and ya 3W LEDs might be overkill for veg. question is weither to use multiple 90W UFO's or a decent sized panel. whichever system ends up being cheaper is what ill go with

Well you will have a better resell value if you were to buy just a good panel (personnaly I never plan on reselling my growing supplies but it's something to think about I guess...) But most grow panel you will get for 400$, especially the good one, are smaller than you think, make sure you look at the dimension!! I was surprise when I got my blackstar 240 for some reason I was expecting a much bigger panel!! So if you can get 3-4 5th generation BLUE UFO for that price... I think I would go for this... now that is assuming you are only looking at lights for vegging right?

Free shipping to and I was surprise I got mine fairly fast when I ordered back in september.

This is only my opinion. I am expecting a few fellas to say that I am crazy to recommend the cheap UFOs...

Okay, Ive been at the led game for awhile.
I want everyone to recognize the newest leds out there now.

APACHE TECH
MY INDOOR GARDEN iSunlight

I have tried almost every red and blue out there and the newest with added whites and "better nanometer ranges"
The white absolutely grows better than the red and blue. I currently run 2 50 watt white Full Spectru and a 100 watt and 600 watt White Full Spectrum.
There is much better and healthy growth under the full spectrum white. Zach from Urban Hydroponics Growers Union did a great side by side with basil and the results there were excellent....white easily outgrew and produced more.
Lets face it....leds should have been all white from the get go.....glad someone figured it out.
Apache Tech is doing amazing things with 6100k white led and also just released a full spectrum white.
Ive seen FaceBook posts from a a guy in MIchigan growing with the iSunlight: Alexander T. Grate He has fotos up of a massive 1200 watt white with 24 amazing medicinal plants under the lights. Ive never seen resin production like what his lights and grows have. Completely frosted fan leaves!
Anywho....just my 2 cents. Im forever led...at least now its white...lmao.

The HSS has a lot of white light too, I find the light looks more natural and it's more enjoyable to watch the plant under the HSS than other red leds

Thanks! this might just do, for some reason i could only find the red flowering led ufos on ebay...

I hope to place an order soon and finally get some picks up of my slow moving project!

I have a recently purchased Pro-Grow 180 and 2 T8's on 3 plants for my first grow in a 3x3x5 box, using a homemade ebb & flow. I must've committed every noob mistake on them and I was about start blaming the LEDs. Then, they started growing like crazy after I left them alone for a couple days. Now they are beautiful and healthy. They are about 35 days old and into their 4th day of 12/12. The stretch is just beginning. Anyway, the Pro-Grow is working far better than I expected. The penetration is excellent. I am now faced with the problem that the plants may get too big for the box...

Let us not forget good old http://www.lumigrow.com.....great American product.
Pricey, but have good documented grows and a FIVE year warranty......

I've been looking at the e165 model (all have true changeable light spectrums) and it has top bin (5w) leds and actual 660nm leds.
Hence the price.;)
