Wondering if anyone has any opinions on one verses the other? I'm currently running Samsungs (2x Bestva pro-1000s) and was thinking about getting a Mars Hydro FC-3000 for my 2x2x54" tent. Any notacable differnces between the two?
Thanks in advance

I had more than i could handle in my 2x2 with 150w. Your mileage may vary.
Its a small space for all those watts and humidity.

Samsungs in mine

I defininitely would'nt be running them 100%. Currently with my 200 watts I'm rarely running over 75%. I kind of like the headroom though and running them a bit cooler. Just pondering my next buy and jump up in tent size would also be an option at some point.

You can produce plenty for personal in a 2x2. I was averaging around 170g's of tops per harvest in mine.
That is alot of pot for a person.
Went up to a 3x3 just for the extra room

That light is listed @ 25.25" x 23.5" so not only a lot of watts for the space but you're going to need some magic dust to get it to fit in a 2x2 correctly.
My 2x2 gorilla tent is less than 24 deep and around 30 wide on the inside.

Oh geez. I thought I read that 23.5 was the long side. Thanks for the clarification. Anyhow any info on Bridgelux? Don't know too much about them.

I've never used them, but they seem to be "last years model" vs the new samsung diodes. That's why you see companies like marshydro and spiderfarmer with 2 different series of lights with the Samsung being the more expensive higher end diode.

All in all though, I'm sure the Bridgelux can grow just as good of buds as the Samsung can.
Brand of diodes doesn't matter nearly as much as a grower's abilities.

Actually i'm seeing 614cm on the long side. 24.1"
I just took their response about the size from a question they answered on Amazon so I may be wrong, but 300w for 4sq ft is still a ton.

You can flower that space with 150-200w easily if you want to save some cash on a light or upgrade to something with Samsung diodes if that's what your looking for.

Sounds about right

It will definitely be overkill for a 2x2. You won’t need to run it at 100%, even in flower.

Maybe if you smoke bowls of weed. I clear through an ounce a week so I'd be fucked if that's all I harvested. Kudos to making 6 ounces last over 2 months.

What makes the bigger difference diodes per watt or better diodes? Looking at 1000 watt mars the one with lm301H evo or the more cost effective bridgelux With more diodes per watt? Also question about PPFD, all lights say the PPFD but are they all taken at different distances from the light source? If so u really can’t use PPFD values if say mars or spiderfarm go at 10 inches from light wile say Hlg uses 18-24 inches? Also how do I know what that distance was when tested?
