I had more than i could handle in my 2x2 with 150w. Your mileage may vary.Wondering if anyone has any opinions on one verses the other? I'm currently running Samsungs (2x Bestva pro-1000s) and was thinking about getting a Mars Hydro FC-3000 for my 2x2x54" tent. Any notacable differnces between the two?
Thanks in advance
I defininitely would'nt be running them 100%. Currently with my 200 watts I'm rarely running over 75%. I kind of like the headroom though and running them a bit cooler. Just pondering my next buy and jump up in tent size would also be an option at some point.I had more than i could handle in my 2x2 with 150w. Your mileage may vary.
Its a small space for all those watts and humidity.
You can produce plenty for personal in a 2x2. I was averaging around 170g's of tops per harvest in mine.I defininitely would'nt be running them 100%. Currently with my 200 watts I'm rarely running over 75%. I kind of like the headroom though and running them a bit cooler.
My 2x2 gorilla tent is less than 24 deep and around 30 wide on the inside. That light is listed @ 25.25" x 23.5" so not only a lot of watts for the space but you're going to need some magic dust to get it to fit in a 2x2 correctly.
Oh geez. I thought I read that 23.5 was the long side. Thanks for the clarification. Anyhow any info on Bridgelux? Don't know too much about them. That light is listed @ 25.25" x 23.5" so not only a lot of watts for the space but you're going to need some magic dust to get it to fit in a 2x2 correctly.
I've never used them, but they seem to be "last years model" vs the new samsung diodes. That's why you see companies like marshydro and spiderfarmer with 2 different series of lights with the Samsung being the more expensive higher end diode.Oh geez. I just took their response about the size from a question they answered on Amazon so I may be wrong, but 300w for 4sq ft is still a ton.Actually i'm seeing 614cm on the long side. 24.1"
Sounds about rightI just took their response about the size from a question they answered on Amazon so I may be wrong, but 300w for 4sq ft is still a ton.
You can flower that space with 150-200w easily if you want to save some cash on a light or upgrade to something with Samsung diodes if that's what your looking for.
They have an FC and FE? series I think. One with samsung one with Bridgeluxand now I'm seeing 22.8" with samsung diodes. Are there different versions of this light?
It will definitely be overkill for a 2x2. You won’t need to run it at 100%, even in flower.Wondering if anyone has any opinions on one verses the other? Maybe if you smoke bowls of weed. I clear through an ounce a week so I'd be fucked if that's all I harvested. Kudos to making 6 ounces last over 2 months. You can produce plenty for personal in a 2x2. I was averaging around 170g's of tops per harvest in mine.
That is alot of pot for a person.
Went up to a 3x3 just for the extra room
