LED/Fluorescent Grow

Heres an update. It's only day two of flowering and I'm starting to see some buds forming! I apologize for the low quality pics, I never got a real digicam because I spent too much on grow supplies, but i'm hoping to get one for the holidays.

If you notice the large amount of stretch on pic 2, that all occurred during these past 2 days. I had the red spectrum dialed down to 50% for most of the veg period, and turned it up to full for flowering. I've read that the red spectrum encourages stretching and I guess this proves it. The ability to dial in the spectrum is a pretty neat feature on the lumigrow, and I think some other LED units are starting to incorporate similar technology.

OK your stuff look's so great. I threw my MK into flower on the 19th and using just the BlackStar with no CFL's today it looks like the stretch has started a bit the bulk is still deep with every node so full. I was looking under the biggest lady with a mirror and you can see light through all the leaves strange I wish I could get a pic from underneath but with the high output panel the leaves are very translucent in appearence. What a difference in comparing others grows. Everyone else seems to have plants a foot tall and mine seem to be 6 inch tall by 15" around, I hope they produce some nice pictures in the morning.

My plants stayed short for a while too. It wasn't until I turned the blue spectrum down that they got some stretch going on. I'm starting week 3 of flowering today, buds are just now starting to really take their shape with white pistils starting to show on all the bud sites. One thing I learned from my first grow, is the most important thing in growing is patience! Especially with LED's, the plants take longer to flower, but if you just keep at it eventually you'll be rewarded
