LED Grow 12/12 from seed with Jack the Ripper

Day 39, and flowers are starting to emerge. All the males have left the building, and I have remaining in my hands 13 females. 2 Blueberry (blue), 1 Void (purple) and 10 Jack the rippers. In the veg room, I added femd Jack Herrer, and femd Sour Cream, both have sprouted. I also have full vegging jack the rippers, and a black domina that will be transplanted to a Waterfarm Unit in a week. The flowering girls are looking great! They are starting to show flowers, and I decided to switch to Advanced Nutrients full time for the rest of the grow, and keep the General Organics and BC line for younger flowering plants. The topped plants are forming very very clonable branching.
The last pic is Blondies with nutella i made with a friend. He harvested 15 large plants, and made them into the most potent butter i have ever seen in my life. I was hallucinating all night, talking to my kitchen equipment

Healthy looking plants. You're off to a good start. I am finishing my first LED grow. I'm happy with it but will make a few adjustments for my next go around. And I'm considering buying a couple Magnums. Idk yet. But anyways...nice job

Day 42. All plants looking healthy without any signs of deficiencies so far. No bugs or pests to report. Veg room is getting slightly bigger. Fem Jack Herrer just popped out of the ground, as well as fem Sour Cream, but i will be giving the SC as a present to a friend. Its too long of a flowering time. I really want my setup to be small plants. Clone to flower and seed to flower, but since I have an extra 2ft 2bulb t5, I make it do some work. Plants are already starting to form side branching in veg room. In the flowering room, raised the lights to 16 inches, transplanted the two blueberry clones into a 5-gallon smart pot, and moved around some plants so they all have good lighting. The void is starting to show more flowering, and most of the jack the rippers are starting to form full buds in their bud sites. I feel like the topped jack the rippers will be producing much more yield than the regular, but we will see. Next week, starting to apply Advanced Nutrients Overdrive, so stay tuned. Next week will be the most bud growth.

Day 45 and everything looks like its filling in. I have the jack herrer in veg going in a single water farm as a seedling. Also got a Thai Breeze as seedling, and a cool friend is hooking me up with an LSD plant that will be in veg for a while. I put one black domina and 6 Jack the Rippers into flowering. Three of them have around 22 days of veg and the rest have around 18 days of veg on them. Fed the flowering plants 900 ppm including Over Drive.

They are perking up nicely. I love the way a 12/12 from seed looks during flower.

Yep it's so different than any plant I've seen. Some of them are just spears with zero side branching, others spread out as much as I let them. Two of the plants just grew a foot in four days. They are in full flowering and have clusters of pistils already. I just don't know what part of flowering they are since they are from seed. I would guesstimate they are around 4 weeks of flowering, but not quite sure. 1 girl just started forming pistils on top. I'll put up new pics soon.

Day 49 Of them popping out. All starting to fill in very well. Fed them a medium watering of processed seaweed and processed squid, as well as b-1s for some enzyme action, and they responded very well. No hermies or deficiencies to report. I lost one plant to hermie a couple days back but he was my smallest plant so I dont mind really. For every one plant i lose, I have two that are healthier and bigger to replace.



Jack Herrer in waterfarm is doing great. My second harvest is coming up as well, I just placed 6 plants in decent size into flowering. Peace Easy Cowboys

Day 52 and everything looking solid. The void is starting to fill in nice, and the leaves around most jack the rippers are covered in trichomes. I just fed them full strength nutes today for the first time, 1800ppm and 6.2ph. Lets see how they react to it tomorrow morning. If you see any tiny holes on the leaves, ive been noticing a slight humidity problem. In the morning when the lights turn on, some of the leaves have small balls of water drops on their leaves. This combined with led light burns a hole right through the leaf. I have to either have the intake and extake fans running at night, or put in a dehumidifier in there for night time. All else, everything looks healthy.

I also hired 2 new people to watch over my tent. Put up two pictures of them.



I pay them in catnip. Got a fat catnip bush in the veg room. They have learned not to touch it, but when I bring it out, its a party! I also have a very healthy femd jack herrer in a waterfarm in the veg room. 440ppm 5.9ph. She is 11 days old and looking great. In three to four weeks, she is going into flowering.

The ones in the red containers are vegging plants that I put in there six days ago. They just showed sex last night, 3/3 females so far. 2 Jack the rippers and one Black Domina. They had 22 days or so veg on them.

Pictures 1 and 19 are of the Void that i topped. She filled in her container very well and is not filling in her tops.

Picture 18 is 2 blueberry clones in a 5gallon smart pot. They had around 20 days from being cloned to flowering. They are filling in very nice as well, and the bud formation starts from farr bottom to the top.

Picture 8 is 2 jack the rippers topped at day 22. In my opinion, they are going to be the heaviest yielders because of being topped. I can count twelve very solid bud formations, not including middle or bottom branches.

I also feed them Indian and Italian food. I swear when are like dogs when I give them a lamb shank! I try to lay off giving them cheese because they fart more than I do.

ILove here. Just wanted to let you know that I'm loving the setup you have. I grow all sorts of plants, and I feel like the technology and knowledge that my cannabis growing has provided has made for better veggies as well. I used to let my cat guard my plants, but my roommate's cats would follow him in, and would sunbathe all over my plants. I found the damn things sleeping on my clones under the lights! I'm very interested in 12-12 from seed growing, and I'm using your thread as a base for my own future tests. Very interesting thread, keep on posting man!

Hello Ilove, good to hear you are here watching. Sometimes these cats try to go into the tent. I even caught one trying to climb onto my LED. They are fine as long as I pull up a chair towards the tent when I have the doors open. They just want to sit on it and watch. But if I don't put that chair and the doors are open, possibilities are endless. They have actually never touched my mmj plants. I caught Seymour petting my strawberries the other day. They also have an oversized catnip plant they sit by. I'll throw up pics of it later on.
Also, 12/12 has provided to create some awesome plants, but the time on them take very long. My plants are almost at day 60 and they should be looking like a few days to finish now, but instead look like another 3-4 weeks minimum. 12 days on the blueberry clones and 20 for 2 of the Jack the rippers. I would suggest vegging your plants under a crappy cfl or fluorescent for 20 or so days before popping into 12/12. The plant may be the same size in the end but the veg will have more weight.
This is not to say all strains are bad at 12/12 from seed. One of my Jack the rippers is nearly 3 1/2 feet. I had to tie her down. Looks like she is going to do great! But other strains like my black domina, 100% indica, look like I will be lucky to get a quarter from it. So I see sati vas doing much better than indicas in 12/12 from seed, just a heads up

Thanks for stopping by! Let me know if you have any questions about the LEDs. These are not the best in the market, but the best in price for quality; 1$ per watt, total 740ws.

Purchased advanced nutrients nirvana to swap out with my previous humid acid supply, Diamond Black from general organics. Fed them a full feeding of Nirvana, Over-Drive, and B-1 today, 975ppm 5.9ph.

Day 64 of my little friends emerging from seedlings.
Sex of the plants showed at day 28, so I am assuming they are around Day 30 of flowering. I emptied the tent today and went full sanitation. Grabbed a bucket of bleach and surface-sanitizer solution and nuked the entire tent, lights, walls, floors, etc. Looks like I just pulled the tent out of the bag. Well worth the time and effort.

The plants are more spread out now, which is great because the black domina and five jack the rippers i put into flowering two weeks ago are growing very nice. When I transplanted the black domina into a larger pot, she shot up very tall, which is the opposite characteristics of her. They reacted to their last feed very well. Also, a good friend of mine, D Man, gave me two LSD clones. They are in three-gallon containers and will join flowering with the jack herer as soon as the 12/12 seeds are out (I was hoping an additional two weeks, but looks like if I keep them in for four weeks, they would highly benefit)

The 12/12 seeds are filling in very nice. Some will be getting harvested earlier then others. The void plant grew slightly and is filling in great, and I got two clones rooting in veg at the moment. One has a taproot growing and the other is just a fuzzy stem.

The ones that are not in a pink light are the 21 day veg, 13 day flowering plants. I pulled them out to differentiate.

hey man what led are you using the blackstar? im excited with led's man, i got an advanced led diamond series and they smoke my t5's big time.

Yep LED's are fun. I am not shooting for numbers, just the quality of bud, so I didn't have a heavy risk when purchasing them. I am still trying to tone in just the perfect way to use them. They definitely smoke T-5's, but I cant trash t5's man, I have one T-5 2ft 2bulb that is doing a GREAT job, ill post pictures in a minute.
