tellin you brother. bag the led idea. for like 50-60 bucks you could rock out an hps and get upt to 1.5 grams a watt even heard of a guy gettin two. then as you go you can save the money for an led. and try it in a seperate grow. if you like it then use it, but while your waitin you could already be smokin your own high grade.
in the best deals thread there is a ballast kit for a 400w hps that is like 60 bucks, get a mogul socket, bake a round tube, some ducting and some pvc pipe and you can be harvesting a pound with the right plant every 2 months, or if you wanna go another route you can easily double that. with one light. cfls are cool and all but for about the same price as some florex lights, you could have a 70 w. hps. and a diy cool tube you could put close to the plants. cfls don't put out half as much as an hps.
really i don't even see why anyone argues otherwise. cfls kinda suck in the big picture. it's like why smoke dirt weed (buy cfls) when for the same price you could be smokin danks (buyin hps)

your horribly wrong, even in optimal grow's you shouldn't expect nomore then 1gram per watt. Not trying to offend ya too much here but your giving off the wrong kinda info
