LED Hours per day?

How many hours do i have to keep the led on during the day? like 24-0 or 18-6? Does this depends and/or change based on the age of the plant? I'm first time indoors grower. I will be using Spider Farmer SF-2000 (https://www.spider-farmer.com/collections/frontpage/products/sf-2000-led-grow-light)
And another question, how far does the light has to be from the plant? And does the distance between the light and the plant remain the same at all stages of growing?

Ya better go 18-6 or people tend to have a meltdown. I keep mine 18"

2.5-3 seedling

18 light, 6 dark is a generally accepted trend for veg. 12 light, 12 dark is generally accepted norm for flower. I have tried 10 light, 12 dark for flower. It worked.
