Led isn't agreeing with my plants

A while back when I got a kingbright 240w led, I put a plant under it at 50% power and made it sick, I'm now trying it again atm but the plants are going back the way?

I started it at 100w 4ft and lowered it a bit each day, it was down to around 16" (from the tallest) yesterday but today I can see it's just not agreeing with them.

Where am I going wrong any suggestions?

They were under T5s previously and they were doing fine, I've since repotted and moved to a bigger tent and changed the light.

I tried the same thing with my tomato seedlings last year, started under t5s, bought a small well known LED fixture of reputed decent quality, and my plants hated it no matter what I did to ease them into it. Changing from one light source to another is always a shock to them, slow and steady is best, like how you harden off seedlings started indoors under the sunlight.

Did they eventually take to it, I'd like to get a use from it but I'm thinking about putting the led away and getting the T5s/mh back in.

Agreed no doubt its not perfect but it's winter in the UK, from the day I cut the clones they've been in a relatively low temperature and been OK, since I've put them under the led they've went down hill.
I'll lift it up a bit more and leave for 2/3 days then take it from there.

That does seem a bit odd. I remember the first time I started flowering with LED the plants where right up in full pray position the next day.
When I used to go from 6500K T5 to 2200K HPS they would mope around for a few days getting used to it.

I've had the same issues. Started newly planted clones under T-5's and when I decided they were needing more light I put them under TS 2000 mars (yuk) and they looked just like yours. Put them back under the T-5's and in about 2-3 days they were looking normal. I put the mars crap light into my flower room to add light where the HPS is losing intensity/footprint.

Raise it up to 24in keep it there untill flower and dim the light back to 50% increase the l only 10% every 2 or 3 days. I switched from 90watt Mars hydro to 260 watt viparspectra i tried to increase from 50% to 75% after a day and one of my girls didn't like it

Plant on the left looks overwatered the plant on the right looks like it’s going through or just went through revegetation. What’s your light schedule and what like schedule has the plant on the right been on?

They are re vegging clones except the biggest one, they have been on 24hrs since day one.
The plant on the left has been fed daily from a week old, it's in coco.

I'm not in a rush but if I was then the led would have held me back by weeks, I can't get to grips with it I'll try it once again then I'll write it off as a waste of money if the plants don't respond well again.

Roots grown out since Saturday under a cfl.

I've always used 24hrs light in veg for the environmental stability, what makes you say plants like a break from 24 hours?

Some strains respond well after I leave the light off for 8 or 9 hours after blasting them with led for 24-7 for a week.
