Led isn't agreeing with my plants

No it's not a problem I've done it that way for ever.
Hey bud, I get that you have done it forever but not with this light. I put my little ladies into a tent some time ago with a new HLG 600, they are responding very well to this light. They are on 18/6 light schedule. 50% at. 30" for veg and. 24" full power for flower. Adjust the light up slowly the 2nd week of 1212 until you reach full power over 5 days or so. I will post a pic when I get home of plants but as I mentioned they are loving the LED's. Perhaps try to change to 18/6 under that light at 50% power 30" away and see how they respond. Good luck.

Ah right sorry folks i misunderstood I was thinking you meant the 24hrs light itself was a problem, I'm with you now, 24hrs of led can be a problem.
I'll start with 18/6 next week when I put it back in, if it goes well I can try 24hrs and see how it goes, it's winter here and the temps could get down to 15/16c not tragic but the constant 22/23c is more appealing and I can't afford to run another heater the light is actually the cheapest option, but I'll cross that bridge when it comes, I could maybe draw air from my flowering tent?

My other plants been flowering for around 75 days now, if they would feckin hurry up I'd be able to use some wattage, between living and growing I'm using £50+ a week and work isn't exactly booming atm, I'm skint! :-(

I had the same initial problem with some seedlings. Started them under cfl for a couple weeks, then put them under a qb288. They were not happy the first few days, but then they started loving it. Ive always done 18/6 in veg. Im new so my experience is limited, but they sure seem to grow in the dark.
I think with led you want the temps a little higher to help the leaves transpire? I'm sure someone with more experience will chime in. Might want to be closer to the upper 70's.

That’s the downside to Led in cooler climates, I can't get the temperature up using the led unless it's close/closer to plants.
If i could get them used to it then I'd be able to lower it lol

I personally think it has something to do with the plants' DLI interacting with the circadian rhythm. In my time of growing, it looks like led is putting more usable power out to the plants, rather than let's say a t5 light/CFL bulbs. so the plant doesn't have time to support its self at that point when running 24/7. from my personal experience any time I ran 24/7 on led I always will run into problems, if my tents plants arent looking the greatest and I know all my stuff is locked in where it's supposed to be ill-check my lights to make sure their on the timer I'm clumsy some times and I turn my timer to just on. I would like to think that a plant does do stuff at night and it's best to give them a break. Just my 2c

The plants are recovered sufficiently to put in the Led back in again, it's at 120w/50% and 32" from the tips of the reveging plants.
I'll add photos when possible, I've got clones in the same tent but farthest from the light?
3 in particular are fairly important, what do you think distance/intensity clones?
I can't atach a photo atm illustration post one soon as.

Clones need very little light to root, just enough to keep from flowering obviously. Environment is key...Temps, humidity, exchange, etc.

I messed around with hanging heights. My plants seem to do best with lights hung at top of tent. I have dimmers on 3 450 watt lights at top of tent (8'x4') at 55% at first week since flip. I slowly will increase until end. I'm pretty new to this but it's what seems to work for me. Node spacing is tight on most phenos and they pray to lights and seem happy.

I'm a bit concerned about the clones being bleached what do you think?
I've turned back to 100w and lifted it as high as it can go.

I draw warm air from flower when veg is off, gets cold in my basement and I hear ya on using the heater

Honestly, your situation screams for using HID.
Reasonable efficiency, low upfront cost, and in your example, a great source of BTU's to warm the room.
I think that the low room temps are really messing with the metabolism of some of the plants.
Led's run best at 28 degC or 82 degF, having the room as cold as your running will have a negative effect on growth.

Once they acclimatise to the brighter light I can turn it up and build up some heat, I've got a mh but the led was bought as stop gap between T5s and the mh, I'll see how it goes?

Ohhhh, not Again!!!! :wall: :wall::wall:Can't be running your plants under 75•f with led or they won't transpire for shite. They cannot convert all that Par to energy via transperation if there is none.
Above 75•f with oscillating fan. Magnesium, vdp'ish. Ect...
I agree with GBAUTO , throw ur MH on low. Zip up the tent.

I started it at 100w 4ft and lowered it a bit each day, it was down to around 16" (from the tallest) yesterday but today I can see it's just not agreeing with them.

Where am I going wrong any suggestions?
Stop putting your light that close. The plants were looking like that from light stress. Give them way more time to adjust at a higher height before thinking about lowering the light.
