LED light reflecting off reflective material

Hey Folks :peace:

I have :?: :?: 's
Q1 ) with using LED lights in a grow area, do the plants really get much benefit from the light reflection bouncing off the reflected material?

I need to work out how far away from centre point of my light's, should I fit the reflective material on the sides.

Q2 ) do I go with my gut feeling and hang the LEDS and just follow footprints? And take that as my marking point to install frame and reflective material?

Thank you All

Who makes your light? They usually recommend height. If you have cobs those fuckers are powerful. I have an Optic 2 led light which has two 60w optic cobs and 32 x 5 watters and they need to be at 25" above or my plants instantly tell me they have too much light.

Thank you for the message and advice.

I understand about canopy height to LEDs. It's the sides that I am wondering about. Do the sides bounce back much reflected light? And how far from light centre to construct frame for reflective material.
I hope that makes sense?

How far from light center to reflecting frame depends on your lights footprint on given height. Basically this will be your boundaries. Good reflective material gives 90% reflection, so it really make sense.
